The FAST group’s higher performance in LPRTF (early in the experimental testing session) coupled with the SLOW group’s near-significant improvement in the Wingate test (last element of the experimental testing session) aligns with this influence of the SLOW vs.
No significant associations were observed between other FAs and COPD outcomes, although marginal significance was observed between SFA/TFA and COPD, and omega-6/TFA and COPD/asthma-related infections before FDR adjustment.
Tumor incidence displays an interesting trend with similar tumor numbers between each sex maintained on the same diet, except in HFB diet-fed females which demonstrated a higher incidence.
As for the self-esteem variable, the trend was also positive, as the results indicated that, after the intervention, increased levels were found at both the end of the therapeutic approach and during the follow-up phase, obtaining highly significant values.
These results are consistent with sensitivity analysis, except when analyzing the mediation of diet quality in the association between screen time and CRF, where only a significant trend was observed ( Figures S1 and S2 ). 4.
In the Prevention Model, the p-Stat3/Stat3 ratio tended to decrease after the RSJ treatment, especially in the RSJ-H group ( p < 0.05), while the p-Jak2/Jak2 ratio showed a decreasing trend in the RSJ-M and RSJ-H groups, but these results were not statistically different ( Figure 6 D–F). 4.
However, treatments with arecoline showed a trend toward increased latency times in all arecoline-dosed groups compared to the model group, indicating an improvement in motor coordination and endurance.
Although not all reductions between measurement points reached statistical significance, a clear trend toward decreased insulin requirements over time was observed.
A p -value of <0.05 was considered statistically significant whereas p -values between 0.080–0.051 were considered as trending towards significance. 3.
Compared with the past five rounds of China Hypertension Surveys, the overall prevalence of HTN among Chinese adults has shown an increasing trend [ 4 , 5 ].
A decreasing trend over the storage period was observed for all the major individual carotenoids, but the absolute residual concentration depends on their type/structure, as well as on the way of storage ( Table 1 ).
Our analyses of selected indicators of dietary intake in association with wellbeing and health behaviour parameters revealed statistically significant or borderline significant associations for saturated fat intake, dietary fibre intake, eating vegetables daily, and daily intake of fruits and vegetables ( Table 3 ).
In a supplementary analysis, the association between red meat and cold cuts and hPPZ FA remained significant after false discovery rate (FDR) correction for multiple comparisons (p FDR = 0.012), whereas the other two associations were marginally significant (alcohol and FX FA, p FDR = 0.054; full-fat dairy and hPPZ FA, p FDR = 0.087). 3.4.
This finding was confirmed by quantifying fiber diameter size using a percentage distribution curve, which showed a trend toward larger sizes, and by measuring the average minimum Feret’s diameter, which was significantly increased in the 6′-SL administration group ( Figure 2 C–E). 4.
In fact, we observed in the experimental animal study that there was a highly significant correlation between Blautia product abundance and 2-OG concentrations in the liver.
When the dietary exposure factor was entered, highly significant associations between genetic polymorphisms and WISC-V indices were obtained, which were even stronger after adjustment for sex, age, BMI, and/or parental education levels as covariates.
Although there were no significant variations in the colon weight/length ratio between the treatment groups at the sacrifice of the mice, differences between ENT and SDH1, as well as Sb.P and SDH1, were borderline significant.
We did not find a significant relationship between corticosteroid treatment and BMD changes, though there was a clear trend indicating a negative correlation between corticosteroid dose and BMD.
Although food neophobia is often treated as a natural stage in a child’s development, our data indicate that its occurrence may be more complicated and its impact on long-term eating habits may be significant.
Modified milk feeding had a positive but not fully significant coefficient, suggesting a possible association with higher levels of neophobia but requiring further research ( Table 6 ).
