Checks for spurious effects with Oldham’s method confirmed validity for the correlation with reading accuracy in L-types (especially with text reading accuracy: r = −0.528, p = 0.052, whereas other components were not fully significant) and with reading speed in P-types (for all components: r ≤ −0.339, p ≤ 0.024), but not for word reading accuracy (r = −0.022, p = 0.887).
The multivariate analysis confirmed age (OR: 1.07; 95%CI: 1.02–1.13; p = 0.008) together with three other (even if not fully significant) characteristics of spontaneous text (writing score - spatial orientation; total number of words; and percent of errors) as independent factors associated with cognitive impairment.
In the PLS-PM models ( Figure 3 ), the path coefficient for the environmental factor on female vegetative growth is −0.400 with a p -value of 0.08, which is close to the significance threshold of 0.05, suggesting a potential negative impact of the environment on vegetative growth, though this effect is not fully significant.
