Patients performed significantly worse than controls and relatives in the Random condition (Tukey’s HSD, p values < 0.01, Cohen’s d = 1.12), significantly worse than relatives in the Orthogonal condition (Tukey’s HSD, p = 0.041, Cohen’s d = 0.68), and showed a trend toward poorer Orthogonal performance versus controls that did not survive correction for multiple comparisons (uncorrected p = 0.006, Cohen’s d = 0.50).
chumash were highly significant in the presence of predation (main effects of host, F 1,20 = 9.63, p = 0.006), but not in its absence (main effects of host, F 1,20 = 2.02, p = 0.17).
They indicated a highly significant enhancement of performance for the symbolic group, t (51) = 3.33; p = .006, η 2 = 0.178, but not for the non-symbolic, t (51) = 0.45; ns, η 2 = 0.005, or control, t (51) = 0.23; ns, η 2 = 0.001, groups.
Comparison of binding parameters revealed a highly significant (p = 0.006) decrease in competitive potency for MLA+T30 (IC50 = 15.5±0.7 nM) as compared with MLA alone (IC50 = 9.5±0.4 nM; Fig. 3D ).
Highly significant associations were found between all genotypes and serum concentration of MASP-1(P = 0.006), MASP-3(P < 0.0001), and MAp44 (P < 0.0001).
The inter-individual comparison in PD patients between the clinical dominant and non-dominant side showed a highly significant difference of the grey value vessel ratio for veins ( p -value = 0.0060): The non-dominant side showed a lower contrast in veins compared to the dominant side.
Proportions of nonclassical monocytes were lower amongst this higher income bracket with lower intermediate monocytes trending towards significance [nonclassical fold change -5.23 (95%CI -8.94 to -1.53), p = 0.006; intermediate -1.91 (-3.91 to 0.10), p = 0.063].
Thus, when comparing anatomical locations, in the cervix 2.0% of the HPV16 samples had a mutation in the E6 gene versus 18.5% in the oropharynx, demonstrating a highly significant difference (p = 0.006).
A clustering analysis of the pairwise correlations of the positive or negative genetic interactions of the 65 ribosomal proteins ( Fig 2B ) identified three clusters, which had a highly significant overlap with the previous clustering based on phenotypic profiling (90% overlap between Clusters 1 and A and 89% between clusters 2 and B, Fisher Exact test, P = 0.006, S4 Table ).
The seven negative control animals gained weight during the study and statistical comparisons of mean weight loss between infected mice and negative controls were highly significant (p = 0.006).
The increase was consistent across all three Hoxb regions tested (supplementary Table S2 ) and the difference in modification levels between the VPA-treated and untreated Hox genes was highly significant (H4K8ac, P = 0.006, H3K4me3, P = 0.0008; this and all subsequent comparisons use Student's two-tailed paired t test).
The overall differentiation between the phenotypes was highly significant (L, M1, M2 and M3, H; Fst=0.2335, P=0.0062; Table 3 ), whereas no significant differentiation was detected between any of the pairs of phenotypes (Fst ≥0.0379, P ≥0.1168; Table 3 ).
Clear differences in ELOVL6 expression were observed among samples in all tissues, with a highly significant effect of sex in liver (p-value = 6.5×10 −03 ), backfat (p-value = 3.4×10 −04 ) and muscle (p-value = 3.4×10 −05 ), where ELOVL6 gene expression was higher in females than in males.
We also found a negative trend for an association between SN-DMN coupling and WM task percent correct (PC, r = -0.5197, p = 0.0065) ( Fig 4b ); as the SN-DMN coupling increased, the participant responded more incorrectly.
Within the study cohort, the favorable impact of dMMR ( vs pMMR) on OS was of borderline statistical significance after adjustment for covariates (HR 0.49; 95% CI 0.22 to 1.11; P = .064), but was highly significant in the parent cohort (HR 0.61; 95% CI 0.42 to 0.89; P = .0066).
We observed a highly significant increase in the frequency of naïve CD8+ T cells (T NAIVE ) in the LTS-NS subjects (p = 0.0066), compared to the LTS-SS subjects, but no differences in any other CD8+ T cell subsets.
Notably, a highly significant relationship was identified between CSF NCAM-1 at temporization and Bayley-III motor score (Pearson partial correlation coefficient = -0.422, p = 0.007, FDR Q = 0.089).
People aged 20–29, 30–39, 50–59 and 60–69 in rural areas had significant increasing trends in the BMI mean values ( p <0.001, p = 0.028, p = 0.049 and p = 0.021, respectively); in the urban areas, only people aged 30–39 had an increasing trend in the BMI mean values ( p = 0.007).
