forbesi (β = 0.39), though the departure from neutrality was only marginally significant (t = 2.0, df = 9, P = 0.08; Fig 2B , S3 and S5 Tables).

Similar results were obtained in European populations, but a borderline significant effect for Asian populations was found under the dominant genetic model (OR = 1.38, 95%CI = 0.96–1.98, P = 0.08).
