Tumor oxygenation can fluctuate rapidly, and marginal significance of the relationship between 18 F-FDG and FMISO could be due to the fact that the PET scans were performed several days apart.

Though, expression of another miRNA, hsa-mir-31* , was also up-regulated by 4.75 folds but significantly not different due to greater standard deviation among samples.

In fact, animals from treated groups, when compared with control (treated with PBS), showed in the muscle region, where the venom was injected, a highly significant reduction of hemorrhage (results not shown), which could support the idea that inhibition of hemorrhagic activity was important to reduce muscle damage.

The percent dry weight of total iridoid glycosides (aucubin + catalpol) showed a marginally significant decline with age ( Figure 1c ; Table 1 ).

Thus, children that attended a DCC experienced a slightly significant higher rate of GE (adjusted incidence rate ratio (aIRR): 1.4 [95% CI: 1.2–1.9], mean excess incidence: 358 episodes per 1000 child-years) and ILI (IRR: 1.4 [95% CI: 1.2–1.6], excess incidence: 1134 episodes per 1000 child-years) compared to non-DCC-attending children.

In this situation, correction for the number of genes analyzed may be a more logical approach: with this type of correction, TF rs2718796, CP rs3816893, and B2M rs16966334, as well as ACO1 rs2026739 in whites, remain statistically significant or nominally significant.

Finally, because the herbal preparation shows a slight trend toward lower efficacy [10] , one could argue that the specific pattern may reflect a flare rather than a primary mechanism.

However, analysis of the ratio of proinsulin to total insulin levels showed a trend towards increased proinsulin (relative to insulin) in the plasma of Sox17-paLOF animals as compared to controls ( Figure 1B ).

Considering the perfusion index at extravasation areas, there was a highly significant difference between patients with conservative management ( N = 22) and patient who needed surgical intervention ( N = 7) due to irreversible tissue damage resulting in necrosis ( P = 0.0001).

Therefore the highly significant decline in ADR observed among treated patients with available resistance test was not influenced by a declining duration of previous ART exposure or by increasing ART interruptions over time in the study population.

Despite large sample, our study unfortunately lacked power to detect the potential differences between patients and controls in rare autoimmune diseases, and we observed several marginally significant differences.

Results Our results show a significant effect of the GoodOD training over developed ontologies by topics: (a) a highly significant effect was detected in three topics from the analysis of the ontologies of untrained and trained students; (b) both positive and negative training effects with respect to the gold standard were found for five topics.

These associations showed no or at highest borderline significance.

We only found a tendency of borderline significance between severity of WML and cognitive performance.

ETAP, mainly elastin but also fibulin, fibrillins and latent TGF binding proteins, showed a trend towards higher values in the proximal ovine vagina, which was also the most elastic biomechanically (least permanent strain) compared to the distal regions.

In addition, Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha (TNFA) was highly up-regulated in adipose tissue of FDRs, as was the expression of two markers of macrophage infiltration, CD68 and monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP1/CCL2), which was doubled and highly significant ( Table 4 ).

However, our study does not present a very strong argument for this hypothesis (because the correlation was only marginally significant), which also suggests the possibility that the sources of preferences for BMI are not conscious.
