Interestingly, we did observe a divergent effect of infection complexity on the risk of severe malaria among children <5 years of age, who had a relatively negligible risk of severe disease with a more complex infection (≥3 identified haplotypes), compared to adults and children ≥5 years of age, who had a clear trend ( p = 0.07) towards a reduced risk of severe disease with more complex infections.

A positive trend between R 0 and FEV 1 was observed (p = 0.07).

There were marginally significant increases in net N-mineralization and nitrification rates in the UAN plots ( Fig. 6a ,b, p = 0.07 and 0.06, respectively for net N-mineralization and nitrification).

However, the group difference in DMPFC response to sleep pictures was marginally significant ( P = 0.07) after controlling for total sleep time measured by sleep diary.

None of these adverse outcomes were found to be significantly different between bevacizumab-treated and control groups ( P > 0.05); however, there was a trend toward significance with regard to bevacizumab therapy and the risk of pulmonary embolism ( P = 0.07).
