For main effects and post-hoc analysis, significance was declared at P ≤ 0.05 and a tendency toward significance was declared at 0.05 < P ≤ 0.10.

These robustness analyses (Table 2 ) reveal consistent findings with those presented in Table 1 for H2, but we do find evidence consistent with H1 (a marginally significant point estimate of 0.331, p < 0.1 for value aligned treatments, i.e., an increase in donations of 0.3 of a token).
