However, the total energy calculated from controlled multiple filamentation as a function of initial pulse energy exhibits a positive trend that correlates with the total emission intensity of ionic and neutral target species in Fig. 5(a) and (b) , respectively.
In TFG-depleted islets, although the differences were not striking, being slightly or marginally significant, upregulation of Wee1 and downregulation of genes encoding enzymes in the pentose phosphate pathway (glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase X-linked, phosphogluconate dehydrogenase) were observed (Supplementary Fig.
For example, there is a clear trend in the crumpling exponents where for a unit cell size, the crumpling exponent increases with both hole area fraction (Fig. 3a ) and the perimeter of the hole edges (Fig. 3b ).
The current finding that, in low-intensity conditions, distraction reduced the LPP to a marked extent, was in contrast with the findings of a prior study 29 , which reported that distraction resulted in only marginally significant reduction of LPP.
From 1992 to 2014, CCT increased at a rate of 0.48 TgC yr −1 , accounting for 2.59% of annual CCT. The given regional area (RA) varied little among years, and MCT dominated the pattern of CCT, exhibiting an increasing trend (Fig. 3b ) at a rate of 3.34 gC m −2 yr −1 .
Results The spatial variations of CCT and its components From 1992–2014, the CCT of Liaoning province was 18.56 TgC yr −1 and spatially varied, exhibiting a decreasing trend from northwest to southeast (Fig. 2a ).
At multivariable analysis adjusted for other potential confounding factors, statin use (OR, 0.51; 95% CI, 0.32–0.80) was associated to a reduced risk of PDAC occurrence, while the association for aspirin use was of borderline significance (OR, 0.64; 95% CI, 0.40–1.01).
Overall use of aspirin and statins and risk of pancreatic cancer Seventy-eight cases (19.1%) and 191 controls (23.4%) reported ever use of aspirin, which was associated with a statistically borderline significant reduced PDAC risk (age- and sex-adjusted OR, 0.74; 95% CI, 0.54–1.02; Table 2 ).
This variability was afforded preparing a calibration curve for each of the fungal species, thus measuring the degree of correlation between the number of spores and the copy number of SSRs 68 , which was in all cases highly significant.
In addition, we find a highly significant negative correlation between bacterial load and human somatic cells, confirming that the presence of microorganisms did not correlate with an increase in somatic cells.
A meta-analysis found a borderline significant and weak positive association between H . pylori infection and anaemia with a pooled OR of 1.15 (95% CI: 1.00, 1.32) 1 .
In fact, although the GO term skeletal muscle cell differentiation was highly significant, different TFs and transcriptional co-regulators primarily composed this GO term.
The leveling out of the total PA concentration in the control samples post 12 hrs and a decreasing trend in the metal treated cells resulted in overall low PA presence in the metal treated cells as compared to controls in the 24 h time point.
The reversal of temperature trend since 2005 is directly due to a decreasing trend of the spice component, which is in line with the weakened AMOC and corresponding heat transport.
We revealed no major differences between the uncomplicated and complicated MTBI group except nominally significant differences with lower FA/higher RD in the body of the corpus callosum and the right uncinate in the complicated compared to the uncomplicated group.
Hemoglobin AC significantly reduced IE binding to the receptors CD36 and integrin α5β1, and its effect to reduce binding to integrin α3β1 approached significance (Table 3 ).
The intestinal permeability study showed that cardamonin is highly permeable with an effective permeability value in ileum is (P eff ) 3 × 10 −4 which is highly significant.
Levels of both miR-204 and miR-375 showed a trend towards a positive correlation with the degree of islet purity although statistically not significant ( miR-204 Spearman R = 0.62, p = 0.14; miR-375 Spearman R = 0.68, p = 0.11).
