Although there was a numerical trend towards larger singleton presence costs (an index of attention capture by the color singleton distractor) in the first halves of the blocks (10 ms) than the second halves of the blocks (−6 ms), F (1, 69) = 3.25, p = .08, η p 2 = .05 (see Fig. 2 B), this effect was only a small fraction of the effect reported in Vatterott and Vecera’s ( 2012 ) Experiment 1 (approximately 77 ms vs. −29 ms for the first and second halves, respectively, as estimated from their Fig. 2 ).
Moreover, a numerical trend towards fewer DOCE events was observed when comparing the hybrid vs. full-DCB groups; however, this finding should be interpreted with caution given the low number of events and the limited statistical power of the study.
Second, a numerical trend toward a higher prevalence of asymptomatic grade 1 pneumonitis at diagnosis was observed in patients with lung cancer than in those with non-lung cancers (61.9% vs 50.0%), possibly reflecting surveillance intensity variations rather than biological differences, as individuals with lung cancer typically undergo more frequent chest CT imaging for tumor response assessment.
Multivariate logistic analyses, restricted to FOLFOX-4-treated patients (as only they were exposed to a pump), showed that pump malfunction was associated with an increased risk of grade 3/4 neutropenia (OR 1.57, 97.5% CI: 1.03–2.38; P =0.00165) and a numerical trend for increased risk of grade 3/4 adverse events of special interest for fluoropyrimidines such as neutropenia and gastrointestinal effects (OR 1.25, 97.5% CI: 0.82–1.92; P =0.2361).
In terms of lying postures, heat-stressed buffaloes showed a numerical trend toward more frequent vertical lying compared with animals under thermoneutral conditions.
15 Final OS results show a numerical trend favoring ipatasertib–paclitaxel (median OS 23.1 vs 18.4 months in ipatasertib vs placebo arm, stratified HR 0.62 [95% CI, 0.37-1.05]). 33 However, the Phase III IPATunity130 cohort A failed to show PFS benefit from the addition of ipatasertib to paclitaxel in patients with mTNBC harboring PIK3CA/AK
Post hoc Šídák’s multiple comparisons revealed no significant differences at any specific input level (adjusted P > .05), despite a numerical trend toward higher DNA recovery with the manual method at higher inputs (e.g. 108.9 ng more at 50 000 cells).
Our findings echo this, with no statistically significant difference in mortality, although a numerical trend was noted.
Also, although there were no significant differences between groups in terms of age or IQ, there was a numerical trend toward increasing age and IQ in the MDD group.
On that day, differences between groups did not reach statistical significance ( p > 0.05), although a numerical trend was observed in IL-6, CRP, the PaO 2 /FiO 2 ratio, WBC count, and temperature.
In our cohort, this score showed a numerical trend toward survival stratification; however, differences in OS and disease control rate (DCR) did not reach statistical significance.
In the current study, statistical differences were not recorded for organ weights of the heart ( p = 0.0739), liver ( p = 0.0614), kidney ( p = 0.3179), or spleen ( p = 0.1892) measured during goat harvest ( Table 3 ), although a numerical trend occurred for heart and liver weights as supplementation of biochar increased.
Among 205 patients surviving at least 7 days, Lille scores did not differ significantly between the bilirubin-driven and PT-driven groups (mean 0.256 vs 0.292; P = .17 by t -test, P = .10 by Wilcoxon test), though the bilirubin-driven group showed a numerical trend toward higher scores.
However, a numerical trend was observed, where the improvement rate was lower in the late-pandemic group (50.6%) than in the pre-pandemic (58.9%) and early pandemic groups (60.8%).
In remaining subgroups, CAP score reduction at 6 months showed a numerical trend favouring EPL versus placebo (Figure S2E ).
Unlike a numerical trend, such as a sliding mean, we would here have a “sliding empirical distribution” to determine the trend in terms of randomness. 5.3 Comparing Empirical Distributions With the three data sets as described, let us now look into how decisions based on the empirical data can be made.
Prosodic contours showed a numerical trend toward more missed taps than neutral contours in both meters, though this did not survive correction for multiple comparisons; prosodic contours did, however, lead to significantly more missed taps than reverse contours even after correction.
In the ischemic cohort as you kind of expect, there was a bit of a numerical trend toward using more Impella CP (Abiomed) femoral devices that go in while in the catheterization lab.
Tenecteplase showed a numerical trend toward benefit (OR 1.33; 95% CrI 0.98–1.78) but did not reach statistical significance.
Although not statistically significant, there was a numerical trend suggesting that pregnancy was associated with a history of non-participation in cervical cancer screening, despite equivalent levels of awareness.
Although some studies report a numerical trend toward higher VTE rates with higher doses of JAK inhibitors, these observations have not reached statistical significance, and absolute event rates remain low [ 51 ].
The analysis of cardiac (IRR 1.49, 95% CI 0.96−2.33) (Figure 2B ) and all‐cause mortality (IRR 1.18, 95% CI 0.80‐1.74) (Supporting Information S1: Figure 2A ) following PCI with DCB or DES showed non‐significant differences, though a numerical trend toward higher cardiac death was seen in the DCB arm.
Although a numerical trend toward fewer ILI episodes was noted in the intranasal group, the study was not adequately powered to detect meaningful differences in comparative effectiveness.
Furthermore, within lysis time Q4 (2940 to 11 302 s), there was a numerical trend towards higher rates of cardiovascular events with increasing lysis time on adjusted analysis ( Figure 3 ) that was consistent with previous findings in ACS patients and warrants future scrutiny of those with very high lysis times.
