With frontal regions still undergoing maturation, it is possible that the predicted brain age differences observed in the hazardous ACoA group (and approaching significance within the non-hazardous ACoA group) reflect a delayed process of cortical maturation of frontal regions rather than the accelerated brain aging often observed with studies examining alcohol use disorders and psychiatric conditions using brain age estimations in older participant groups.

The Pearson correlation between salivary cortisol levels and FVC was .829 (p = 0.055), showing a strong positive correlation approaching significance (Table 4 ).

In the OMIM seed list while Snow1 is not significant it is approaching significance with a P -value of 0.0063 and as such may deserve further consideration.
