While no correlation was found between fractional Lac (Lac/Total Carbon) and survival, the changes in fractional Bic (Bic/Total Carbon) between baseline and post treatment showed a trend in the tumor region but did not reach statistical significance (the mean value decreased in the deceased cohort from 0.03 to 0.02, and increased in the survivors from 0.025 to 0.032.
