The expression of Bcl-2 gene did not differ between groups and an increasing trend was observed for Bax/Bcl-2 ratio in CAD patients; however, it did not reach statistical significance (Figure 3 (Fig. 3) ).

During the transition to ambient light, the DM no DR group also showed a trend of attenuation in AFI rise that did not reach statistical significance, while the mild NPDR participants demonstrated a qualitative trend of complete reversal of AFI responses across all three layers that was significantly decreased in the DCP at 5 min compared to controls ( Figure 6 ).

While the variations among phases did not reach statistical significance for IL-2 and IL-10, they were highly significant for IFN-γ and IL-4, which showed the highest values in EQ phase ( Table 2 ).

In COPD cells, expression of both HOXA1 and HOXB2 showed an increasing trend with time of culturing, which did not reach statistical significance.

The expansion of activated memory B cells observed at M2 negatively correlated with CD4 T-cell frequency (p = 0.022), positively correlated with CD8 T-cell activation (HLA-DR+CD38+ cells, p = 0.033), and showed a positive trend with VL that did not reach statistical significance.

Although an overall trend of reduced locomotion was observed across all parameters, the difference between tdp1 −/− fish and their wild-type siblings in low speed count, medium speed, high speed duration and count, total distance traveled, and average speed did not reach statistical significance ( Fig. 3 and fig.

A positive trend was found for an increased duration in the administration of probiotics and synbiotics and diminished postoperative infectious complications, but the difference did not reach statistical significance.

IgG and IgA responses to AD‐2 showed a trend towards boosting (Figure 3A ) but did not reach statistical significance.

In a follow-up study by Dreyer et al., the same techniques found a favorable trend in ICP, CPP, and patient outcomes in the OMT cohort; however, they did not reach statistical significance [ 20 ].

The mRNA expression of CXCL10 also showed a decreasing trend in the HJ-treated group, although it did not reach statistical significance ( Fig. 5D , P=0.086).

A weak trend in the same direction was observed between the time spent looking at the target and localisation error although this did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.128).

In the present series, ER expression showed an increasing trend according to BMI even if it did not reach statistical significance.

Patients with MG and anti‐NRIP autoantibody showed a trend to have unstable MG course (requiring titration of MG‐specific medication within 1 year) compared with those without anti‐NRIP autoantibodies, although the difference did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.077).

In a recent study performed in a series of relapsed and unresectable HGOS patients, high PARP1 expression showed a clear trend towards an association with worse outcome, but did not reach statistical significance [ 29 ].

As Figure 3 B shows, with regard to the cognitive domain, both groups evolved in parallel; however, unlike the placebo group, the melatonin plus zinc group showed a trend towards improvement that was maintained over the 16 weeks of treatment, although it did not reach statistical significance (16 weeks vs. baseline, p = 0.058).

In addition, a positive trend was observed when comparing T1 and T3 in APOE-ε4–; however, this association did not reach statistical significance.
