IL-2-EC 50 and GILZ-EC 50 values both had weak near-significant correlations with clinical improvement in DAS in intramuscularly treated patients only.

The near-significant association with lower education level may indicate unmeasured contextual factors but requires confirmation in larger cohorts.
First, in four likely overlapping groups of patients characterized as representing earlier disease, significant or near-significant lowering of mortality was seen with convalescent plasma: among patients transfused within 7 days of symptom onset [odds ratio, 0.92 (95% confidence interval, 0.83–1.03)], patients not receiving corticosteroids [odds ratio, 0.78 (95% confidence interval, 0.58–1.05)], patients not on supplemental oxygen [odds ratio, 0.83 (95% confidence interval, 0.58–1.18)], and patients without an endogenous anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibody response at time of transfusion [see Figure 2E —odds ratio, 0.94 (95% confidence interval: 0.84–1.06)] ( 11 ).
For all three types of flight patterns, individuals outside the gestation or parental-care periods responded at significant (or near-significant) larger AGL (i.e. vertical distance) or distances from the UAS than animals in those breeding stages ( Fig 2a, 2c and 2f ; S2 Table ).
The near-significant GDP effect indicates that economic context may play a role in shaping youth suicide risk (e.g., through access to education, health care, social support, or cultural attitudes), but the relationship is complex and not straightforward.
Overall effects of heating on surface texture Paired comparisons across all materials reveal that most roughness parameters remained stable following exposure to fire, but several amplitude-related metrics displayed significant or near-significant changes (Table 1 ).
This is in line with arguments emphasizing that near-significant effects, particularly when consistent across measures, may still reflect meaningful relationships [ 42 ].
4 a), 10 host genes were significantly downregulated and one ( Samd4 ) exhibited a near-significant decrease.
16 in their single center trial, demonstrated and emphasized the importance of the LV decompressing and showed the near-significant superiority in the survival of patients on ECLS with LV-vent.
Despite a relatively small sample size, we found near-significant increases in skeletal muscle MnSOD protein level in the trained, but not untrained leg of healthy volunteers.
( 54 ) demonstrated that amygdala-hippocampal RSFC is increased acutely in MDMA administration compared to placebo and this increase occurred in a manner that correlated with the drug’s subjective effects at a near-significant level, leading these researchers to propose that this functional connection was a primary target of MDMA-AT.

The concentration of each of the four cytokines evaluated remained unchanged from four to eight weeks in the control group, whereas significant and near-significant temporal changes were observed in the cohort treated with P-15.
For both miR-196a-5p and miR-196b-5p, luciferase activity demonstrated significant or near-significant increases in activity for cells transfected with the UGT2A1 3′-UTR seed deletion mutant as compared with cells transfected with the wild-type UGT2A1 3′-UTR sequence ( P = 0.046 and 0.075 for miR-196a-5p and miR-196b-5p, respectively; Fig. 2A ).
However, it may make some of the near-significant associations non-significant to improve the reliability of the results.
In post hoc analysis, TSS (1000 μ g/mL) showed near-significant inhibitory effects on the whole blood pressure rate increases induced by 4 and 8 μ g/mL of collagen, and KSS (1000 μ g/mL) showed significant effects under the same conditions ( Figure 2(a) ).
None of the control variables in the adjusted analysis had a significant or near-significant association with cervicocerebral angiography.
Institutionalized elderly patients who received zinc and selenium supplements, either with or without beta carotene, vitamin C, and vitamin E, exhibited higher antibody titers to the influenza vaccine, and a near-significant reduction in respiratory tract infections, whereas supplementation with vitamins alone was associated with lower titers [ 51 ].
In addition, other brain abnormalities and the number of people who need to use 2 or more epilepsy drugs to control the disease had near-significant differences between groups H and D, with a higher proportion in group D than in group H.
A near-significant association was found between a locus on chromosome 6 and STATacute, available in Supplementary Figs. 4B , 6 and in Supplementary Table 3 , where a full list of variants reaching p -values < 10 −5 is available for all endpoints.
This near-significant finding was statistically significant in another study conducted in Taif [ 16 ].
The program has achieved a statistically significant reduction in LOS and in cardiac ischemic events for our patients, with a near-significant decrease in return to theater and in mortality rates. pmc-status-qastatus 0 pmc-status-live yes pmc-status-embargo no pmc-status-released yes pmc-prop-open-access yes pmc-prop-olf no pmc-prop-manuscript no pmc-prop-legally-suppressed no pmc-prop-has-pdf yes pmc-prop-has-supplement no pmc-prop-pdf-o
We found a near-significant difference in damage when comparing one visit versus two visits in SEDAS.
Notably, the subgroup of patients without dialysis and with treatment > 30 weeks had a near-significant increased risk of hyperkalemia compared to placebo (pooled OR = 1.28; 95% CI: 0.99–1.65; I 2 = 0.0%) but not compared to ESAs ( Figure 13 c).
There was a statistically significant improvement in central vertical rearing counts (p < 0.05), and near-significant trends in central path length and vertical rearing counts (Fig. 4b ).
