For example, S hominis LK2134, isolated from a control participant, showed a trend toward improved barrier function ( P adj = .12; P = .005), whereas S hominis LK2024, isolated from a lesional swab, showed the most detrimental effect on barrier function ( P adj < 1 × 10 −10 ).
Changes in flea bacterial loads over time showed a trend similar to that of prevalence and were significantly different (F = 3.148, P = 0.005) (Fig. 3 d).
eryngii showed a trend for dye loss over time (20 weeks vs. 7 weeks P = 0.005, 20 weeks vs. 12 weeks P = 0.035), and the change by 5 months was significantly different to the control ( P = 0.003) although to a lesser extent than P. ostreatus .
While human PCa FMT1 and FMT6 showed a trend to increase (734 ± 30% and 63 ± 22%, respectively) TRAMP-C2 tumour mass compared to autologous mouse FMT, FMT2, 3, 4 and 5 all led to bigger tumours (127 ± 4% p = 0.006, two-sided t -test, 199 ± 13% p = 0.007, two-sided t -test, 247 ± 26% p = 0.04, two-sided t -test and 166 ± 15% p = 0.01, two-sided t-test, respectively) in the recipient animals (Fig. 3c ).
PTX3 concentrations showed a trend toward increased levels at day 0 in non-survivors and this increase became significant at day 14 (2.7-fold induction; p = 0.0063), but normalized at day 28.
Whereas the younger participants showed a trend for greater WMC for the Action group compared to the No Games group (p < 0.007), for older participants there was significantly greater WMC for the Puzzle group, but not the Action or Strategy groups, compared to the No Games group. 3.3 Component game types Assigning participants to groups based on the game types that featured in their list of games resulted in participant numbers shown in Table 3 .
The two PGT groups showed a trend towards a lower risk of miscarriages compared to the ICSI group (13.7% vs. 7.3% vs. 27.9%, p = 0.007).
Patients developing grade II hepatotoxicity showed a trend towards a shorter survival (median OS, 7 months (95% CI, 6–8) versus 14 (95% CI, 11–17), p = 0.007, Figure 4 B).
The mitochondrial haplogroup J, defined by the C295T, T489C, A10398G, A12612G, G13708A and C16069T mutations, showed a trend to higher risk of kidney replacement therapy (OR: 1.957; CI 95% : 1.188–3.178; P = 0.00727), lower eGFR (BETA: -0.115; CI 95% : -0.211-(-0.019); P = 0.0186) and higher SCr levels (BETA: 0.098; CI 95% : 0.015–0.181; P = 0.0201) although not significant after multiple comparisons correction.
Additionally, the MRI model predicted a 5-year PFS AUC of 0.673, which surpassed the individual prognostic factor ADC (ADC: 0.609) and showed a trend compared to Kep (AUC: 0.587) (P = 0.0078 for ADC and P = 0.068 for Kep).
The analysis over time showed a trend over time (OR: 1.13 (95% CI: [1.03‒1.24]), p = 0.008) and substantial differences between the journals ( S3 File , section 6.1.6 ).
Among the T cells, CD4 + (42% vs 50%, p = 0.0237) and CD8 + (25% vs 30%, p = 0.09) T cells showed a trend towards increase, while double negative (CD4-CD8-) T cells (35% vs 22%, p = 0.0082) were significantly reduced in the treatment group (Fig. 6f ). 6TdG treatment resulted in significantly reduced expression of checkpoint receptors, PD-1 and Tim3, on CD8 + T cells (PD-1: 8.2% vs 3.5%, p = 0.0097; Tim3: 6.7% vs 3.2%, p = 0.0097) (Fig. 6f ).
While overall survival was not different between the groups (HR 0.62; 95% CI 0.36–1.07; p = 0.09; I 2 = 80%;), the subgroup analysis of studies employing plastic stents showed a trend toward better survival in the RFA-treated group (HR 0.42; 95% CI 0.22–0.80; p = 0.009; I 2 = 72%).
The results showed a trend to decrease for N 2a peak amplitude, while the N 2b peak showed significantly more variability (paired Student’s t -test, p = 0.009) at increasing frequency, increasing or decreasing its amplitude during the stimulation trains ( Table 2 and Figure 4 ).
Pseudotumor cerebri patients showed a trend of lowered CSF protein concentrations ( p = 0.01).
PTH showed a trend to increase early, by 4 weeks, after the start of pegvisomant but was only significantly higher compared to pretreatment at 24 weeks of therapy ( P = .01). 25-hyroxy vitamin D levels also tended to increase early after the start of pegvisomant and were significantly higher than pretreatment at 8 ( P = .05) and 12( P = .01) weeks of therapy.
The excessive release of IL-22 in lung tissue may stimulate the expression of RegIIIγ in intestinal tissue via the circulation Compared with the normal group, the expression of IFN-γ in the lungs and intestines of the RSV-infected group showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing, reaching a maximum value one the third day after infection, with a significant difference ( P < 0.01, Fig. 4A ).
An interaction test revealed significant results for OS and showed a trend toward significance for PFS between primary tumor sidedness and the treatment arms in the respective study (OS: P = 0.01; PFS: P < 0.01); additionally, a significant interaction was observed between anti-EGFR and non-anti-EGFR treatment and PTS for both OS ( P < 0.010) and PFS ( P = 0.05).
Consistently, in this study, patients with different types of depression showed a trend of increasing remission rates at each point of visit during the study (p < 0.01), however, there was no significant difference among the three types of chronotypes at each visit point ( p > 0.05), which suggested that different chronotypes had no significant effect on the remission rate of depressive symptoms.

The StartReact effect, which measures the acceleration of a visual reaction time by a loud (startling) sound and has been proposed to assess reticulospinal pathways, 36 showed a trend to increase in the biceps muscle in pCF subjects ( STR_Bic , 38.7 ± 34.1 versus 25.1 ± 12.3 ms, P = 0.010) but did not survive correction for multiple comparisons and was not significantly different in the first dorsal interosseous ( STR_1DI ).
Changes in Absolute Cell Number of Dorsal Skin Tissue and ALN The absolute cell number of CD19+, CD4+, CD8+, CD4+/CD69+, and CD23+/B220+ for ALN showed a trend of significant increase in DNCB_CTL compared to NC/Nga_Nr ( ## p < 0.01 or ### p < 0.001 (compared with NC/Nga_Nr)).
The simple effects of the CMJ showed a trend that PAPE peaked at T4 ( p < 0.01) and almost subsided at T12 ( p > 0.05) in ML and P conditions.
Furthermore, the percentage of cells assigned to each cell type in each sample was not significantly different between treatment groups ( Supplementary Table 3 ), except for excitatory cells subtype F showed a trend towards a higher percentage in CIE-treated mice (nominal p-value = 0.012) and OPCs that showed a trend towards a lower percentage in CIE-treated mice compared to controls (nominal p-value<0.05, Supplementary Fig. 2a , b ).
