However, we have recently reported a marginally significant interaction between GSTP1 and a mixture of three metals (Pb, Hg, and Mn) in relation to ASD ( P = 0.07) [ 63 ], though when analyzed as an individual metal (i.e., not in a mixture), the interaction between GSTP1 and blood Hg concentrations in relation to ASD was not significant, ( P = 0.12) [ 63 ].
