For zonulin level, this association was of borderline significance (R = 0.193; p = 0.06).

Serum cholesterol approached significance (1.82 vs. 2.08 mmol/L, p = 0.06, HSD vs. control) while triglycerides (0.71 vs. 0.48 mmol/L; p = 0.7) and NEFA (1.50 vs. 0.85 mmol/L; p = 0.31) were clearly comparable between treatments (HSD vs. control, respectively). 2.2. qPCR Analysis of Small Intestinal Fat Oxidation Genes Expression levels of fat oxidation genes were also studied in the GIT of control fed and HSD mice ( Figure 2 ).

That way, the intermediate- ( p < 0.0001) and high-stress ( p < 0.01) regimes both showed a significant relative reduction in the IVDs’ height (intermediate-stress: 26.1 ± 4.3% reduction and high-stress: 20.9 ± 1.7% reduction, respectively), and a strong trend was observed with the low-stress regime ( p = 0.06) ( Figure 1 b).

However, after we extended the postoperative follow-up time in this study, the high Snail image score only showed a borderline significant trend ( p = 0.06) of correlating with BRC, suggesting that p-Akt might show higher sensitivity than Snail for predicting organ-confined PCa recurrence.

However, the univariate survival analyses confirmed that the patients with high drebrin + T cell infiltration showed a trend toward a short RFS (hazard ratio (HR), 2.40; p = 0.06; 95% confidence interval (CI), 0.95–6.02) ( Figure 3 A).

In our EpiPath cohort, there was a strong ELA-associated increase in immunosenescence-associated chronic inflammation, together with increased T h 17 cell numbers, although this narrowly missed significance ( p = 0.06, [ 51 ]).

We recorded a significant increase in striatal ChAT + interneurons in IR-HG sham mice versus healthy CTRL and a strong trend in the same direction between IR-NG and CTRL mice ( p = 0.06) ( Figure 5 a,c).
