Although the true incidence remains difficult to determine because of underreporting, a decreasing trend has been observed over recent decades.
Excerpts
In patients treated with antivitamin K with moderate thrombocytopenia, minor bleeding occurred three times more frequently than in normal patients (IRR 3.03, 95% CI 1.57–5.60), while major bleeding showed a trend toward increased risk (IRR 1.48, 95% CI 0.44–3.98).
Similarly, for LRs, no significant correlations were found with baseline characteristics, although this group also showed a trend towards less previous use of topical immunomodulators and systemic steroids ( Table 3 ). 4.
Consequently, subtle differences in secondary outcomes may have been missed, and marginally significant findings warrant cautious interpretation.
In a subsequent analysis of a larger number of preemptive and non-preemptive recipients, recipients with higher pre-transplant MZB frequencies showed a trend toward an increased rejection rate during the first year after transplantation, albeit not statistically significant [ 24 ].
Given the observed trend toward significance in the frequency of MZ B cells, the investigation focused on determining the potential of this population as a predictor of rejection.
a strong trendgold
Pioglitazone group did not differ significantly from Control ( p = 0.078), suggesting that inflammation levels were nearly normalized after treatment, indicating a strong trend toward complete restoration of tissue inflammatory status to baseline levels. 3.2.2.
In contrast, in line with the hypothesized path, both the total and indirect effects of PeDSs (T1) on bonding difficulties (T3) through the full path of the mediators (P-PTSSs and PoDSs) were modestly significant, empirically supporting the proposed mediational model.
a clear trendgold
Urine protein levels did not differ significantly during 6 h of perfusion due to high variation in the NMP group, but there was a clear trend of increasing urine protein amounts in the NMP group after 3 h, whereas levels in the SMP group remained consistently low ( Figure 6 D).
When stratified by therapy status, the positive association between adiponectin and NT-proBNP was not significant in untreated patients but was highly significant in patients receiving therapy, with a higher correlation coefficient than in the overall cohort ( Supplemental Figure S2A,D ).
Although no statistically significant difference was observed between the two groups in terms of dysmenorrhea, a trend toward significance was noted ( Figure 2 ).
9.7%; p = 0.082), though the difference approaches statistical significance and should be interpreted cautiously.
a negative trendgold
In contrast, male PCD patients also demonstrated a negative trend, but the correlation was weaker and did not reach statistical significance (r 2 = 0.31; p = 0.25). 4.
The univariate analysis revealed significant differences between the groups, whereas the direct comparison analysis showed that the difference between the concordance and upgrading groups did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.0805) but showed a statistical trend toward higher prostate volume in the upgrading group.
Kaplan–Meier analysis showed a trend towards worse outcomes in patients with subclinical congestion [HR 3.00 (0.88–10.3)], although this did not reach statistical significance, and significantly worse outcomes in patients with clinical congestion [HR of 4.22 (1.34–13.26)], Figure 1 . 4.
In our study, although chest drain size showed an almost significant association with recurrence in the univariate analysis, this variable did not maintain significance in the multivariable model, suggesting that the observed association may be influenced by confounding factors related to patient characteristics or intraoperative findings rather than representing an independent predictor of recurrence.
a clear trendgold
A clear trend emerges whereby those affected by diseases of high severity, such as neoplasms, show a greater willingness to participate in clinical trials, which may reflect their search for new, potentially more effective treatments.
Discussion In this randomised controlled trial, adjunctive silodosin after ESWL did not achieve a statistically significant improvement in the primary endpoint of overall SFR compared with standard care, although a numerical trend towards higher clearance was observed.
Introduction Brain metastases are the most common brain tumors, surpassing the incidence of primary brain tumors, with a current ratio of up to 5:1 and an increasing trend [ 1 ].
Moreover, subgroup analyses showed a trend toward benefit in the pre-pandemic cohort, which faded during and after the pandemic.
SLN positivity was identified as a highly significant prognostic determinant for long-term outcomes, as Kaplan–Meier analysis revealed significant differences across all survival endpoints ( Figure 1 ).
Membership in the train-surfing group showed a trend toward higher mortality but did not reach statistical significance (OR 2.11, 95% CI 0.79–5.63, p = 0.129). 4.
a negative trendgold
According to our study, the OS of patients with involvement of the AP lymph node zone shows a negative trend with a progressive reduction over time, but it is less pronounced compared to the rapid decline observed for the lower zone.
With the disproportionally increased prevalence of metabolic disorders by racial/ethnic and socioeconomic groups, it is important to investigate whether there exists an increasing trend in hyperinsulinemia and IR since they represent essential underlying risk factors for diabetes and the metabolic syndrome.
CEC Detection and Diagnostic Performance Stratified by Dysmenorrhea Severity Stratified analysis by dysmenorrhea severity showed an increasing trend in CEC detection with higher visual analogue scale (VAS) scores.
