In a recent study conducted in the US, around 95% of gabapentin prescriptions in the US were for off-label pain management use and an increasing trend of overlapping use with opioid analgesics has also been observed 11 , despite strong evidence suggesting an increase in the risk of all-cause and drug-related hospitalisations from this combination 11 , 12 .

Nevertheless, for genes controlled in trans by HS6 (chromosome 2, 11.4–11.6 Mb, 172 genes) and HS7 (chromosome 2, 21.4–21.6 Mb, 183 genes), one or more GO terms associated with CYPs, cysteine proteases or DOGs were enriched, albeit with modestly significant p -values as compared to those for HS1.

Discussion We identified 73 out of 425 (17%) disease phenotypes across the human phenome that were associated with decreased wrist temperature amplitudes, 26 of which (6.1%) were highly significant under more stringent criteria.

This strategy confirms that controlling conformational changes in biopolymer chains is quite significant for underwater adhesion instead of introducing only some specific groups or structures.

The radical mechanism The fact that essentially any carbon-containing material seems to be hydrogenated to light hydrocarbons under ball milling is highly significant, both for its practical implications and for fundamental reasons, since such broad reactivity in hydrogenations at fairly mild conditions for solid substrates, compared to earlier attempts, which focus on one class of substrates, often under harsh conditions 36 – 39 , had never been observed.

Hence, the difference between the PM 2.5 values provided by a reference method or instrument and other reported PM 2.5 concentration values might be significant.

The highly significant association between clinical outcomes and correlative parameters, despite limited patient numbers, argues for the latter.

In addition to the higher SO4 2– /Na + ratio (>0.25), ssNa + shows a decreasing trend from AIM 8 towards MIS 2/GLGM (Fig. 1b ) when sea-ice is thought to have expanded 16 , 18 .

For example, after grouping β-cells from each donor into quartiles based on their T2D pseudo indexes, downregulated T2D marker genes S 100A10 , FXYD2 , and PPP1R1A and upregulated T2D marker genes CDKN2A , PDE4B , and SIX3 all demonstrated a clear trend of heterogeneity within the same donor (Fig. 4f, h ), in both healthy and T2D donors.

The relative abundance of live, CD45+ cells (leukocytes) showed a trend consistent with our histology data, with Ldha LysM−/− mice exhibiting decreased abundance of leukocytes at 4 wpi infection and increased abundance at 30 wpi, relative to WT controls (Fig. 3A ).

Neither SPC nor FE CO2R directly reflect outlet composition, as indicated by the lack of a clear trend in Fig. 2a, d .

LPS-treated WT mice showed highly significant increases in the frequency of Ca 2+ fluctuations in the soma as well as the proximal and distal processes (Fig. 6c, d and Supplementary Movie 3 ).

Consistently, a recent large-scale GWAS of asthma and COPD overlap has identified a highly significant chromatin interaction in fetal lung fibroblasts overlapping with TRIO 53 .

Our results reveal that PT s brachiopods did not show a strong trend of long-term diversity decline despite a sharp drop across PTME (Fig. 3i ).

As many of these CH and blood cell traits are interrelated, we report associations that do not adjust for stringent multiple testing corrections and caution against the overinterpretation of marginally significant associations.
