There was a positive trend in all subpopulations, with the highest AC among obese women (+50.2%) and obese subjects aged 75 years and older (+54.4%), whereas the highest risk was observed among the youngest obese adults (AF: 99.4%).
A comparison of the different family groups in 2010 showed marginally significant differences between reefs for the triggerfishes, butterflyfishes and surgeonfishes.
The temporal changes in biomass of different finfish families were variable and exhibited highly significant increases for the surgeonfishes, triggerfishes, wrasses, goatfishes and angelfishes, and somewhat less significant increases in the ballonfishes and parrotfishes ( Table 2 ).
In this figure, apart from Indonesia and Singapore, which are notable outliers deviating significantly from the dashed line, the number of Mazu temples in other countries shows an increasing trend along the dashed line.
Regarding the Modularity Coefficient, very preterm children showed a trend for a higher coefficient (M Q = 0.600) than full-term children (M Q = 0.5932) with 55% of significant tests (i.e., 11 tests out of 20) (for the ANCOVA results and the bar plots of the twenty case-wise bootstrap analyses, see the S2 File ).
Visit rates among patients whose VL was not fully suppressed in 2022 and those who had no VL test in 2022 show a decreasing trend throughout the study period.
This meta-analysis also concluded that maternal asthma causes a borderline significant effect modification/interaction, based a more pronounced increase in the risk of childhood asthma when the prevalence of maternal asthma was lower.
While previous studies with similar designs have consistently shown an increasing trend in costs with age for both males and females [ 24 , 25 ], our study reveals a contrasting pattern in females.
Although the results are slightly better when using more modalities as input (as in Motion,Image → Sound in comparison to Motion → Sound or Image → Sound), the improvement in performance is not clearly significant in the experiment.
Although risk for AD fell just short of significance in N3C and PCORnet hospitalized with ventilation patients, we still believe that this association is plausible.
A highly significant positive correlation was found between skilled-reaching performance (i.e., average success on the first reach attempt on days 11 and 12) and level of phospho-DARPP-32 at the Thr75 site, but not at the Thr34 or Ser97 sites ( r = 0.848, P = 0.002; Fig 8A ), in the striatum contralateral to the trained forelimb.
This change could have caused a positive trend in the numbers of animals hauled out and available for observation as animals that find abundant food resources nearby their rookeries may spend less time foraging at sea as explained by Maniscalco et al.
The present results showed a trend that the unencapsulated capsaicin was assessed higher in pungency than the encapsulated formulations with the same concentrations.
In a mouse model, CS exposure for 16 weeks showed a trend towards increased blood pressure; this trend was statistically significant compared to non-exposed mice at 32 weeks of CS exposure [ 21 ].
There were several C-type associations from the top lists showing the same direction and nominally significant cis -eQTL effect in multiple tissues ( S9 Fig ).
An additional limitation of the phenology models used, which may have significant implications for their application to future climate scenarios, is their inability to capture the effect on plant growth and development of the projected increase in CO 2 concentrations: likely to be significant for C 3 crops such as the grapevine [ 74 ].
Risk exposure under different climate scenarios The higher temperatures predicted under future climate scenarios and time periods are reflected in projected increases in the seasonal growing degree days measured from 1 st April to 31 st October, with the historic weather record also showing an increasing trend in seasonal GDD since 1961, despite year-on-year variation ( Fig 2 ).
