In prospective tests, we found that this index identified preictal changes at levels above chance in 13.2% of the patients (7/53), suggesting that results may be significant for the whole group (p < 0.05).

A negative trend towards an association between D-lactate and IL-8 production was also observed in these co-cultures (rho = −0.4971; p = 0.0501).
In contrast, when assessing the change in ‘other’ bat calls at willow sites over time we found borderline significance and an increase in recorded calls over time (F(1,152) = 3.90, p = 0.0501) (Fig. 2 ).
Although pre-existing CPA was borderline significant in multivariate analysis of all-cause mortality (p = 0.0502), MAC-PD patients who developed CPA showed extremely poor prognoses (Fig.
The anti-inflammatory cytokine, IL-10, appeared also to be secreted at lower levels, to a degree that was near-significant ( p = 0.0503).
Statistically, this difference in corrugator-supercilii activity seemed to be maintained even after deactivation and stimuls offset, F (4,104) = 3.04, p = 0.020, η2 = 0.10, and also presented a linear trend at the limit of significance, t (26) = 2.05, p = 0.0503, d = 0.395.
Although neither left nor right hamstrings showed significant differences between groups, PY had a positive trend (Δ7,78 ± 10,33 Nm, p = 0.0504) after the intervention in the right hamstring compared to WP (Δ−1,1 ± 11,66 Nm, p = 0.775).
Characterization of AEA levels during DMF treatment At 12 months, AEA median values were similar to baseline (p = 0.9263), while at 24 months, AEA experienced a decrease compared to baseline almost significant (p = 0.0505) (Fig. 3 A).
Specifically, BUSTED detected one positively selected cone-expressed gene, CNGB3 , along the ancestral Euarchontoglires branch, which was not detected by PAML, and BUSTED also detected one cone-expressed gene, SWS1 , at close to marginal significance ( P = 0.0505), which was found to be under positive selection by PAML.
While sex was included as an independent term in the best model (Table 1 ), the correlation between the sex of the badger and the frequency with which they made ETEs did not quite reach significance (P = 0.0506, Table 2 ) across the whole year, although the trend was towards males making, on average, more frequent ETEs throughout the year (Fig. 4 – mean values).
The results (Table 4 ) show that all of these parameters, when combined in a multiple regression model, were significantly different between cases and controls, except testosterone levels, which were nearly significant with a p -value slightly above 0.05 ( p = 0.0506), and smoking status, which was not significant.
There was an increase in HIF-1α mRNA expression that nearly reached significance in the RS group ( P = 0.0506), and the HIF-1α target gene, VEGFa, and VEGFR2 mRNA had significantly higher expression levels in the RS group compared to the control group (Fig. 5A–C ).
Correlation between 6 mA levels at Site A and Htr2a mRNA levels closely approached significance ( p = 0.0509; Supplementary Figure 3 ).
In line with Hypothesis 1 (H1), we found correlations between C max (the maximal cross-correlation of cortical and autonomic signals), T max (the individual delay) and V-derived fluctuation periods (p = 0.003) whereas the correlation between either C max or T max and HR-derived periods just failed to reach significance (C max : p = 0.051, T max : p = 0.069).
In the IDHmt group, the OS difference according to the EOR was marginally significant (p = 0.051).
The Hypertension × Condition interaction approached significance ( p = 0.051).
The BEI treatment showed a marginally non-significant difference ( p = 0.051) with FA.
Medication intake Medication intake in the form of contraceptives was lower with a statistical trend ( p = 0.051) in marathoners/ultra-marathoners compared to half-marathoners and 10-km runners.
The comparison with the other bivalent condition only approached significance, t (115.86) = 2.68; p = 0.051.
In addition, no interactions were statistically significant (Table S3 A), although the interaction between phase, concentration, and identity showed a marginal trend (F2,29 = 3.30, P = 0.051).
Of those, 192 patients (75%) underwent replacement (65.2% mechanical valve replacement and 34.8% biological valve replacement), and 64 patients (25%) underwent repair of the mitral valve with a significant trend for less repair in late calendar periods ( p = 0.051 for trend).
Results Experiment 1: AUT items as word only or word + image As regards idea fluency, we found a marginally significant effect of condition in the dual procedure (within-subject comparison), with higher number of ideas generated for word + image than word only items ( p = 0.051, η p 2 = 0.144, large effect size ; Supplementary Table 1 , Fig. 1 ).
