LC-MS identified an increasing trend of Cer C24:0 and of a set of SMs in patients with AD, a significant decrease of sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) (t-test p-value 0.0325) and an increase of glucosylceramide (GlcCer) C24:0 (p-value 0.0037) in AD compared to iNPH patients.

Consistent with their known activity, our flow cytometric analysis revealed that six days following their injections into 4T1 tumors, both PSM⍺3 and Protein A showed a trend of increasing CD11b + Ly6G + Ly6C low cells, which represent PMNs and granulocytic myeloid-derived suppressor cells (gMDSCs) (Supplementary Fig. 2 A).

In contrast, there were highly significant positive correlations between PR, RW, LR, FW as well as S-A, Mg-A and K-A of the phenotypes under normal but not high Mg 2+ supply (Fig. 2C ).

However, this study, which represents routine clinical practice in Korea and was performed before the publication of the RACING trial, identified an increasing trend of favoring moderate-intensity statin with ezetimibe combination therapy over high-intensity statin monotherapy in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention.

First, we observed that the metabolomic profile of progressors and non-progressors differed significantly with respect to several metabolites; a logistic regression analysis resulted in 111 nominally significant metabolites after adjustment for age of diabetes onset, baseline HbA 1c and AER.

The VSURF-selected metabolites erythritol, 3-phenylpropionate and N-trimethyl-5-aminovalerate were also consistently ranked among the highest in the RF and they were also highly significant in the logistic regression.

The brain connectivity patterns from the metabolic network show a decreasing trend of inter- and intra-hemispheric connections for NC, sMCI, pMCI and AD.

We found that even though the Spearman and Pearson correlation between average protein and mRNA concentrations is highly significant (Table 2 ), the temporal profiles of protein and mRNA concentrations are only weakly correlated (Fig. 4 ), with typical correlation not higher than 0.2.

Although the European component is preponderant in the Brazilian population (≈70%), with a slightly increasing trend from North to South of Brazil 59 – 61 , in the small settlement of Rio Pardo, a much lesser contribution of the European component (≈44%) was found.

However, the total DCW exhibited a slightly increasing trend as the activator concentration was increased (Table 3 ).

The high LMP adherence group showed a trend of adopting a more balanced diet in terms of the energy contribution from various macronutrients (i.e. reduced percentage energy from total fat and saturated fat) after the intervention compared with the control group (Table 3 ).

From the residual value components, it can be seen that the temperature time series generally shows a decreasing trend.

This resulted in a shift from statistical significance to borderline significance for the effect of vitamin D treatment on radiographic resolution in participants with low baseline vitamin D levels (25OHD <25 nmol/L).

Discussion Green algae (Chlorophyta) are clearly significant photosynthetic contributors in coastal waters as demonstrated by the OSD dataset where they constituted the second major photosynthetic group (dinoflagellates excluded) after Ochrophyta (mostly diatoms) both in terms of read contribution and number of OTUs (Fig. 1 ).

24 found an increasing trend of α-HCH and DDTs with the increasing altitude on the windward side but no correlation with the altitude on the leeward side.

Sygera in 2015 and found out that the POP concentrations had no obvious variation on the windward side but observed a decreasing trend on the leeward side along the altitude.

Although no significant differences were observed, there is a clear trend towards more IL-32β and IL-32γ mRNA expression in the RA patients compared to the healthy individuals (Fig. 1A,B ).

This phenomenon can be attributed to the decreased GaO 6 octahedron and GaO 3 tetrahedron ratio, which showed a trend similar to that of XANES results.

It signifies a strong trend over the last 3 years with r 2 of 0.74 on order 3 polynomial regression.

To evaluate the latency of the MUA modulation following the Stop signal, we identified the time from the stop presentation at which MUA began to show a decreasing trend that went on for at least 100 consecutive ms.
