Of the four rare variants, two were nonsynonymous to SLC5A10 and were highly significant (rs148178887, p = 1.13 × 10 −36 and rs61741107, p = 8.85 × 10 −56 ).

We found a highly significant replication (mean R 2 for expression = 0.071; p = 1.3 × 10 −36 ; mean R 2 for splicing = 0.047; p = 2.1 × 10 −29 ), with 50.2% genes and splicing having R 2 > 0.01 (Supplementary Figure 9 ).
We find a highly significant difference between these two means [t-test: t (478) = −13.618, p = 1.51×10 −36 ], indicating that, on average, observers are able to estimate admixture levels from photographs better than chance.

The read accuracy improvement of using ORP over single reads, revealed as a gap between their respective error profiles, was most prominent at Q10 and diminished with higher Q-score filtering; the advantage at Q30 was small yet still highly significant (two-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test p = 5×10 -36 and 2×10 -11 for rabies and BCV control, respectively), as any reduction in error rate can be used to detect viral variants with greater sensitivity.
CHUP1 Candidate Gene for bgm-1 The GWAS analysis of CIAT’s 412 breeding lines detected a highly significant interval on Pv03: 2.43–2.54 Mbp with a peak SNP S03_2524224 [−log10( P -value) = 35.23] ( Table 3 and Supplementary Table 3A ).

The overlap of the downregulated genes in strains overexpressing the D303A or D346A variants compared to those in the strain overexpressing wild-type RNase E was statistically highly significant ( P < 10 –35 and < 10 –46 , respectively, hypergeometric test).
