Trend analysis of liver cancer-related deaths among Chinese residents The standardized mortality rate of liver cancer for all urban residents, as well as for urban males and urban females, exhibited a decreasing trend from 2002 to 2021 (APC=AAPC=-2.7, -2.7, and − 2.9, respectively), and the best-fit models for all three subgroups were smooth curves, with no inflection points (joinpoints = 0), as shown in Fig. 2 .
Global changes in open chromatin (cut sites) could be characterized by two main observations: (1) a decreasing trend in the chromatin accessibility of immune cells from FT to naive tumors and then to NACT tumors and (2) a general increasing trend in open chromatin sites in endothelial cells, fibroblasts, and epithelial cells from naive tumors to NACT tumors ( Figure S2C ).
In fully adjusted models, weighted multivariate logistic regression revealed a decreasing trend in CKD risk with increasing serum VLCSFAs levels, particularly for docosanoic acid, tricosanoic acid, and lignoceric acid, which significantly reduced CKD risk (docosanoic acid: odds ratio [OR] = 0.17, 95% CI: 0.06-0.43, P < 0.001; tricosanoic acid: OR = 0.02, 95% CI: 0.002-0.15, P < 0.001; lignoceric acid: OR = 0.13, 95% CI: 0.04-0.40, P < 0.001).
