These differences were highly significant across all immune parameters (Kruskal-Wallis P < 10 − 48 for all comparisons).

A highly significant association was observed between BMI and triglyceride levels (Beta = 0.26, p = 3.06E-46), and a positive correlation trend was also seen between BMI and UA.
