Specifically, membership in the high discrimination subgroup (HR, 1.27 [95% CI, 1.09–1.49]) was associated with greater risk of a CVD event when adjusted for socioeconomic status (model 2), and again when adjusted for cardiovascular health factors/clinical mediators (HR, 1.29; [95% CI, 1.10–1.51]) (model 3), whereas membership in the multiple high stressors subgroup (HR, 1.30 [95% CI, 1.00–1.68]) was marginally significant when adjusting for socioeconomic status but once again significant (HR, 1.30 [95% CI, 1.00, 1.69]) after adjusting for cardiovascular health factors.
There was an interaction between Shannon index and time regarding change in WAZ and WLZ (although the latter became marginally significant in the adjusted model) (Table 4 ); accordingly, cross-sectional models were examined, which revealed that diversity was positively related to change in WAZ (Table 5 and Fig. 3 ) and WLZ (Table 5 ) from 6 to 12 mo in both unadjusted and adjusted models, whereas there was no significant association with change in WAZ or WLZ from 12 to 18 mo.
atrial fibrillation cardiovascular risk number of stroke events Subject Categories Atrial Fibrillation Multiple adjusted logistic regression analyses indicated that patients with 1 prior stroke had a marginally significant lower likelihood of OAC use (OR [95% CI]: 0.83 [0.73–0.94]), but when OAC was used there was a higher use of NOACs versus VKA (OR [95% CI]: 1.19 [1.05–1.34]), when compared with no prior stroke.
Only 42% (465/1,108) of the studies in the analysis were appropriately powered to detect a medium effect, although based on the contour-enhanced funnel plot ( Figure 3A ), there did not appear to be an overrepresentation of just-significant ( p values between .05 and .01, represented by the red area of the figure) or marginally significant ( p values between .10 and .05, represented by the orange area of the figure) results, suggesting that inflation bias in gerontological individual differences research is unlikely.
Using the data for 25 heteromers of paralogs, we indeed observed a marginally significant negative correlation with the average CS values (Fig 6 E) of paralog pairs with the strength of interactions, suggesting that codependency indeed could be a mechanism that contributes to the enhanced deleteriousness of paralogs pairs that interact with each other.
When compared to autistic participants who experienced a Criterion A trauma but did not have clinically significant symptoms of PTSD ( n = 29), autistic participants who experienced clinically significant symptoms in the absence of a Criterion A trauma reported receiving significantly less emotional and instrumental social support (see Table 7 ); there were also marginally significant differences in understanding relationships and insistence on sameness between the two groups (with moderate effect sizes). 6 Discussion The findings of this study provide novel insights into autistic young adults' understanding and experience of stress and trauma.
