We detected nominally significant heterogeneity (p = 0.048) among the data sets in the rs6500843 analysis, indicating some disagreement between data sets; the SNP-associated increased hazard was not seen in the SUCCESS-A data set.
Nominally significant correlations were obtained for trails A (ρ=−0.36, p =0.048), indicating that reduced GM volumes across the nine implicated regions were associated with longer times (poorer performance) on this test ( Figure 4 ).
observed that ABCB1 rs1045642 has an additive protective effect against cardiotoxicity (OR = 0.48, 95% CI = 0.23–1.00, p = 0.049), and the results remained nominally significant after correction for clinical covariates ( p = 0.048) [ 48 ].
Mediation Analyses (Amyloid-Stratified Causal Framework) Across 721 SCFA–taxon combinations, one species ( Clostridiales bacterium within Oscillospiraceae ) showed a nominally significant mediation of valeric acid’s relationship with Aβ status (ACME p = 0.048) ( Figure 7 ; Supplementary Table S5 ).
However, there were two nominally significant causal relationships that hyperthyroidism was associated with an increased risk of order MollicutesRF9 (id.11579) (OR=1.067, 95% CI: 1.0003-1.138, P =0.0488), while hypothyroidism was associated with an increased risk of genus Ruminococcaceae UCG005 (OR=1.038, 95% CI: 1.001-1.078, P =0.0497). 4 Discussion This study comprehensively assessed the causal effects of 211 taxonomic groups within the domain of Genus and Species (from phylum to genus levels) on thyroid function, encompassing parameters such as FT4, TSH, hypothyroidism, and hyperthyroidism.
The T allele of rs10912116 was significantly associated with a decreased odds of relapse in both males [OR 0.77, 95% CI 0.63, 0.94, p = 8.87 × 10 –3 ] and females [OR 0.59, 95% CI 0.47, 0.74, p = 5.07 × 10 –6 ] and the sex by SNP interaction was nominally significant (p = 4.89 × 10 –2 ).
Only the Body and Scar domain in the 8–17 year child self-report showed a nominally significant difference (0.72 vs. 0.42, p = 0.049, Cohen's d = 0.56), but this did not survive Bonferroni correction for five simultaneous comparisons (adjusted threshold p < 0.01).
The TDT identified one nominally significant association (p = 0.049) with intragenic marker rs7193756 (chr16:29,657,155-29,657,655) from the Affymetrix 5.0 data; however, the DFAM was not significant (p = 0.20) ( Table S1 ).
Among 21 candidate variants including genes in the interferon response pathway, APOE , TMPRSS2 , TLR3 , the HLA complex and the ABO blood group, only rs1205, a 3’ untranslated region variant in the CRP gene, showed nominally significant association in T-dominant model analyses (odds ratio 1.859, 95%CI 1.001–3.453, p = 0.049) after adjustment for age, sex, center, body mass index, and a history of cardiovascular disease.
Unadjusted means favored both support groups (control: 5.79; call: 6.57; SMS: 6.80); the prespecified SMS-vs-control contrast was nominally significant ( P =.049, small effect).

In the skull EEG, there was an insignificant decrease in ITC at 40 Hz (t (10) =2.108, P =.061) and a nominally significant increase in ITC at 20-Hz stimulation (t (10) =2.237, P =.049).
In the multiple regression model with each predictor adjusted for the others, the only nominally significant association ( P = 0.049) was between the number of researchers per 1 M and number of cases ( Table 1 ).
