Although LGR5 + cell populations were expanded, there was no change in WNT target gene expression, including cyclin D1 , C-MYC , DKK1 , or β-CATENIN , and AXIN2 expression showed a trend to be decreased in SBS compared with normal biopsies ( Figure 4A, P = 0.054).
25 , 35 , 36 Our study confirmed LA diameter and long-standing AF as the most powerful predictors of AF recurrence after CPVA; in addition, persistent AF showed a trend towards a higher probability of recurrence ( P = 0.054).
SF-1 followed a similar trend, although the changes showed a trend to significance ( p < 0.054).
Nonetheless, exposed females also showed a trend towards significance for increased CD36 protein expression levels ( p =0.054), compared to their sex-matched controls.
Low E-cadherin expression was significantly associated with shorter RFS (p = .002), while low TSR also showed a trend toward shorter RFS (p = .054).
The HAdv-D36(+) group showed a trend toward lower age values, which did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.054).

Functional independence An improvement in FIM total score from baseline to month 6 occurred in the ITB arm (+2.68 (10.31)), while a worsening occurred in the CMM arm (−2.58 (11.00)) ( table 3 and figure 3 ); the analysis showed a trend towards a treatment effect in favour of ITB over CMM (P=0.0540).
Whereas miR-221 overexpressing LNCaP cells showed a trend towards higher cell viability ( p = 0.054), the comparison between TRAIL-treated LNCaP cells after pre-miR-221 or control transfections was statistically significant (119.5 ± 19.7% vs. 84.8 ± 5.6%, p = 0.013).
Treatment with buprenorphine as compared with methadone was not associated with psychological symptom score in men ( B = −0.89, 95% CI −2.08 to 0.30, P = 0.141), but showed a trend towards statistical significance in women ( B = −1.45, 95% CI −2.93 to 0.03, P = 0.054; Table 3 ).
At follow up, patients treated with curcumin showed a trend towards lower subcutaneous fat area at L3, total adipose area at L3 and total estimated body fat as compared to the patients in the control group (Table 2 , p=0.054, 0.07, and 0.07, respectively).
Treatment eyes (T) in older children also showed a trend towards decline in MP and ALE with progressive age (r = − 0.38, p = 0.054; r = 0.39, p = 0.052 respectively; Fig. 3 c,d).

In univariable analyses ( Table 4 ), female sex showed a trend toward improved overall survival compared with male sex (HR 0.65, 95% CI 0.42–1.01, p = 0.054), which is best explained by the relatively favorable survival of patients with breast cancer.

The pre-administration baseline AαVal541 level of the AATD patients before they received their first AAT augmentation therapy showed no correlation with baseline pulmonary function, although diffusion capacity (KCO) showed a trend to a negative correlation with baseline AαVal541 level (Spearman’s correlation coefficient—0.624, p = 0.054). 2.4.
CEP17 duplication correlated with a higher rate of pCR [odds ratio (OR) 6.55, 95% confidence interval (95% CI) 1.25-34.29, P = .026], and analysis of TOP2A amplification showed a trend bordering on statistical significance (OR 6.97, 95% CI 0.96-50.12, P = .054).
Entering hippocampal MTR and hippocampal DIR lesions as predictors revealed that only hippocampal [Glu] showed a trend for predicting PAL trials at first attempt (coeff.=0.60, 95% CI −0.01 to 1.13, p=0.054, PCC=0.59).

When compared with men with high SES, those with low SES had greater risk for ICU treatment ≥5 days (multivariate-adjusted OR 1.99; 95% CI 1.06–3.74; p = 0.036) and showed a trend for a low number of visits from next-of-kin (<0.5 visits per day) (OR 1.85; 95% CI 0.79–4.30; p = 0.054).
