During CAST, 6M calves had lower HFP than 3M calves ( p = 0.0048) whereas the difference between 6M and 6W calves was marginally significant ( p = 0.0613).

As expected, the males had longer tarsi than the females, but the difference was marginally non-significant (linear model: β male ± se = 0.99 ± 0.47; F 1,10 = 4.41, p = 0.062).

However, both the FIV and dermatological waiver groups had p -values that approached significance ( p = 0.062 and 0.093, respectively).

At 15 dpv, the V group had a trend towards significance with 32 times more mRNA than the ZnO group ( p = 0.062).
