HER2 YVMA overexpression in 4T1 models led to a nearly significant increase in the frequency of spontaneous brain metastasis, with 1/5 HER2-negative mice developing metastasis compared to 8/10 across the HER2-expressing groups (Fisher’s Exact Test p = 0.0889).

In the FLT3 m subgroup ( n = 66), oral azacitidine improved relapse-free survival (RFS) and showed a trend toward improved OS [ 15 ].

These p -values, while nominally significant, should be interpreted cautiously given the extremely small randomized groups ( n = 6 for nivolumab plus axitinib and n = 5 for nivolumab monotherapy), early trial closure, and inherently unstable point estimates.

A slight trend toward increased asymmetry was observed.

Although the majority of patients in the IOM cohort have an age of menarche at or below twelve, the risk class sub-analysis within the two categories (≤12 and >12) does not reveal a clear trend ( Figure 3 B).

In our study, stratification by FIGO stage showed a trend toward worse prognosis for G-EAC compared with usual-type endocervical adenocarcinoma, though not statistically significant, likely due to limited follow-up and sample size.

Among the remaining predictors, age showed a limited and element-specific effect, reaching borderline significance only for Mg (B = 0.77, 95% CI: 0.00 to 1.54), while confidence intervals for most other elements crossed zero.

HRQoL data from the ASCEMBL trial comparing asciminib to bosutinib in patients with CML-CP previously treated with ≥2 TKIs showed a trend of improvement in the MDASI-CML and EQ-5D-5L scores in the asciminib arm, including fatigue, whereas there was a worsening of gastrointestinal symptoms in the bosutinib arm.

Although a numerical trend toward shorter PFS was observed with worsening LIPI categories in our cohort, this difference did not reach statistical significance.

Although no significant association was found between the response criteria and progression ( p > 0.05), functional imaging showed a trend toward better correlation with longer progression-free survival.

For some of the highly significant pathways, they were presented in a concentrated manner.

Language remains the most extensively tested cognitive domain; however, a positive trend towards the implementation of a broader range of cognitive tests is observed [ 48 , 49 , 50 ].

Panitumumab (OR = 864.77; 95%-CI: 191.84–3898.23) was the least favorable treatment regimen and was associated with a highly significant increase in the risk of acneiform rash.

Consistently, further gating demonstrated a decreasing trend in PMN-MDSCs within the metastatic liver following paquinimod treatment ( Figure 4 E).

In the myeloid compartment, Ly6C/Ly6G profiling showed a trend toward reduced frequencies of Ly6G + cells in paquinimod-treated aged mice ( Figure 4 D).

In the present study, although the development of cAEs did not demonstrate a statistically significant impact on PFS, a numerical trend toward superior PFS was observed in patients who experienced cAEs compared with those who did not.

Assessment of cell counts and biochemical markers revealed a statistically significant negative association of baseline CRP (OR = 0.81, 95%CI: 0.63–0.98, p < 0.05) with CB6, as well as a negative trend for CAR (OR = 0.55, 95%CI: 0.24–1.02, p 0.06).

A two-sided p -value < 0.05 was considered statistically significant, and p < 0.01 was regarded as highly significant.

Additionally, Kaplan–Meier analysis showed a trend toward reduced overall survival in tumors with elevated PI3K–AKT pathway activity compared with AKT-low tumors, although this did not reach statistical significance (log-rank p = 0.093; Figure 7 C).

Most cases were open (66.4%); however, there was an overall trend towards increased robotics, as only 58% of cases were open from 2020 to 2023.

Over the past few decades, the widespread expansion of cross-sectional imaging—such as ultrasound and CT—has driven a steady increase in detected cases; as roughly 60% to 67% of RCC cases are diagnosed incidentally, a shift that has led to a notable trend toward the detection of smaller, lower-stage asymptomatic tumors [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ].

Hence, DEX may mediate the remodeling of local RAS signaling, which may be significant in overall survival and disease-free survival.

Overall, in SKOV3 cells, short-term DEX exposure tended to reduce angiotensin receptor expression, whereas prolonged treatment showed a trend toward increased expression, although these changes were not statistically significant.
