Interestingly, PC2 values differed significantly between Stage I and Stage IV HNC patients, as well as between Stage III and IV HNC patients, and a closer visual inspection reveals an increasing trend in mean PC2 values with stage of HNC ( Figure 6 B).

Our study showed a trend toward improving the LARS category from major to minor LARS, although, in a small number of patients, the improvement was insignificant, and these patients finally ended up needing permanent colostomy.

However, in the univariate analysis of the R 3 to <6 months/T group, the metastatic locations did not reach statistical significance, but a positive trend was noted.

When all the proteins pulled down from ATX-101-treated cells were analysed in the same way as for untreated cells, we found only one cluster with a clear trend, i.e., an increase in the pull-down from TK12-16.

Discussion It is generally accepted that there are no differences in the conventional parameters of efficacy, whichever of the two agents (regorafenib or trifluridine/tipiracil) is used first, while some reports suggested that patients who received T after R showed a trend towards a longer PFS than those who received T before R [ 31 , 32 ].

Not surprisingly, in the control group, there was a positive trend between the number of Ki67-positive cells and absolute tumor volume in males and females [ 36 ].

Cluster 2, on the other hand, showed a trend of decreasing pull-down from TK12-16, i.e., also reduced in the most sensitive TK16 cell line ( Figure 3 A).

Cluster 3 ( Figure 3 A) showed an increasing trend in the pull-down from TK12-16, suggesting an increased activation of these proteins in all the sensitive cells.

First, we found a highly significant correlation between MYC expression and expression of 4EBP1, LARP1, and hnRNPC in primary material from 762 newly diagnosed MM patients in the MMRF CoMMpass study ( NCT01454297 ) [ 24 ] ( Figure 7 A).

A clear trend towards more patients undergoing antileukemic therapy (2005–2011: 19% vs. 2012 and after: 71%) can be observed.

Notably, secondary liver malignancies and concurrent exemestane use were associated with an increased risk of hepatitis, while the absence of anti-HBs antibodies showed a trend, though not statistically significant, toward increased HBVr risk, which may be due to small sample size and missing antiHBs titer data.

In contrast with a previous study [ 12 ], we did not find a significant interaction between sex and time of distress level 6 months apart, but only a small trend to a worsening in males.

In that study, OCA2, KITLG, SLC24A4, and TPCN2, which are all associated with blond hair or blue eyes, did not show a nominally significant association with the risk of CM or BCC.

GLOBOCAN data until 2010–2016 presents an increasing trend for colorectal, lung and bronchus, and urinary bladder cancer incidence in females during the last years and decades in 55%, 65%, and 33% of the 42 available countries in the world [ 24 ].

According to Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG) criteria [ 75 ], defined to assess tumor response to treatment and standardized grades for evaluation of treatment toxicity, 67 patients (74%) showed stable disease or response to therapy, with a significant trend in improvement of symptoms.

It must be noted, however, that these results were highly influenced by certain individual studies that caused a high degree of heterogeneity, and it was only after their removal from the analysis that a marginally significant result was obtained.

This information was not recorded in the same way across the two cohorts (see methods), but a clear difference was apparent.

In addition, the cytotoxicity of CAR T cells on another CD19 + tumor cell line (hCD19 + -K7M2) showed a trend similar to that of hCD19 + -CT26 cells ( Figure S3 ).

The first achievement presents a highly significant improvement in the prediction performance of DeepSurv, DeepHit, Nnet-survival, and Cox-Time deep learning models.

Following its recognition as the 16th most common malignant neoplasm in the world, there is an increasing trend of oral cancer affecting young men and women [ 18 ].

These may be significant contributing factors for treatment and RT-specific refusal.

As noted in Figure 6 , the difference in the cytotoxic effect induced by elesclomol, 2DG or 3BP as single agents versus that induced by the elesclomol in combination with 2DG or 3BP is highly significant.

However, the current research shows that there has been an increasing trend in the use of contraceptives from less than approximately 10% to more than 50% of the population in several developing countries, and the risk rates are constantly growing in Asia and in the Middle East [ 115 ].

A notable trend in preclinical research can be observed with the aim of identifying suitable antigens specifically for the NSCLC subtypes of adenocarcinoma and squamous carcinoma [ 36 , 37 , 38 ].

Similarly, a small number of high-VIM cases fell into the grade 1 Silverberg–Shimizu group, with a possible trend towards lower expression in grades 2 and 3, but the differences are not strong enough for significance.
