Another limitation is related to the sample size, which impedes the statistical significance reached in a comparative model: however, although the group × time interaction analyzed with a linear mixed factor analysis was not statistically significant, even though a clear trend is evident-for the weight and ALSFRS-R progression in this small pilot study, the findings on weight are extremely encouraging for conceiving a potential benefit for nutritional counseling and redefining a randomized, in-parallel, clinical trial.

Coupled with the observation that PRL showed a trend towards expansion, while rim negative lesions showed a trend towards shrinkage, it was suggested that PRL could be a biomarker of SELs and compartmentalised inflammation [ 64 ].

Results: Unlike national data, our results highlighted a decreasing trend in the consumption of antibiotics that did not concern only carbapenems and fluoroquinolones, but also the third-generation cephalosporins.

In the total clinic cohort, increased rates of PP (71.6% to 75.6%), MPP (61.9% to 67.8%, p = 0.027), and antidepressant prescriptions (56.9% to 62.9%, p = 0.028) were noted, although only the latter two were nominally significant.

All risk stratification factors for intermediate-risk PCa were highly significant predictors of poor outcomes and, consequently, FG and UG have markedly different prognoses [ 14 ].

These results should be interpreted considering the actual numbers of annual births in Ile-de-France which show a decreasing trend but no major difference between years ( Table A1 ).

However, some studies found only a negative trend-level correlation [ 19 ], a positive correlation [ 20 ], or no correlation [ 18 , 22 , 24 , 25 , 29 , 30 , 31 ] between NS and effort allocation capacity.

Given that the overall treatment effect was highly significant, with a remission rate of 61% after 20 sessions and 78% at one-month follow-up, and given that no side effects, especially no induced hypomanic episodes, were induced, these results are highly encouraging and motivate replication studies using a randomized control trial design.
