t TC in both analyses show a decreasing trend with increasing ionic strength (Fig. 3e ).

Strikingly, TetO-YAP:Cas9 mice infected with AAV-Cre-sgRNA-Nuak2 demonstrated a substantial and highly significant reduction in liver overgrowth and hepatocyte proliferation (Fig. 2b, c ).

The cophylogeny terms from both these tests were highly significant (ICCs, 95% lower bounds: 0.34 and 0.21, respectively).

2d ) showed a trend similar to that of junctional Myosin-II and previously described tension distribution.

Re-expression of TRIM24 showed a trend in rescuing tumor growth but the change was not statistically significant.

We observed highly significant upregulation of TRIM28 mRNA in metastatic PCa as compared to benign and/or localized PCa in multiple microarray datasets 3 , 44 , 45 (Fig. 6a, b ).

The absence of an increasing trend in long-term positions may be seen as encouraging.

While IL-17 was the only one significantly increased, several other inflammatory factors attracting and activating eosinophils (i.e., RANTES, IFN-γ, IL-4, IL-13, GM-CSF, and IL-5) showed a trend toward enrichment in the BM sera of SMM patients rapidly progressing to MM (Supplementary Fig. 7 ).

However, cells expressing H2B K20R showed a dramatic and highly significant reduction in their ability to activate SASP gene transcription in response to senescent cell-generated conditioned media.

The miRNA identified as positively and negatively associated with the hallmarks gene signatures in this dataset showed highly significant concordance, over the majority of signatures, with the results obtained in analysis of the TCGA BRCA dataset (Supplementary Figure 12 , Supplementary Note 5a ).

Atr +/− B cells also showed a trend toward reduced CSR at days 3 and 4, but the data did not reach statistical significance when compared to either Atr +/+ or Atr +/KD B cells (Fig. 2c ).

All three species are strongly positively sensitive to winter precipitation, with a significant trend towards greater sensitivity in the south and east.

We observed a highly significant effect of this contrast on pigmentation traits (Fig. 4a–c ).

We compared the two splicing datasets and observed a highly significant overlap not only in the genes with altered splicing but also in specific splicing events (Fig. 3c , Supplementary Fig. 8f , Supplementary Data 4 ).

A one-sample t- test was performed on the fitted slopes resulting from the regression of rotation magnitude and movement angle to test for the presence of a reliable trend.

Linear regressions were performed on subjects’ full distribution (i.e., no binning) of reach angles and RTs after the critical RT bin, and a t- test was performed on the resulting slopes to test for the presence of a significant trend.

There was also a nonsignificant trend toward a decrease in Complex II activity (Fig. 2c ).

A model that included (Table 2 , model 1) sex, disease severity (total Mayo clinical and endoscopic severity score), and histologic characterization of rectal eosinophils agreed with the model for the full cohort, adding sex with borderline significance.

A time course of TAC showed a trend towards induction of Thbs3 mRNA at 3 and 7 days but with significant and robust induction by 2 and 12 weeks (Supplementary Fig 1b ).

During marine isotope stage 5 (MIS 5), three negative peaks in the loess δ 13 C IC exhibit a decreasing trend from MIS 5e to MIS 5a, corresponding to changing summer insolation maxima.

When we plotted the ED 50 values for morphine analgesia in WT, S375A, 10S/T-A and 11S/T-A mice against their respective ED 50 values for respiratory depression and constipation we found highly significant correlations (Fig. 4 , Supplementary Table 1 ), suggesting that both opioid effects cannot be uncoupled.

By contrast, no source sector in India shows an obvious trend; the trend in total emissions from India is uncertain, and it is not clear what could be driving that trend, if one exists.

Contribution of various source sectors We find a clear trend in CH 4 emissions from China’s coal sector while other source sectors do not show a corresponding trend (Fig. 5 ).

We incorporate atmospheric CH 4 observations into an inverse model and find an increasing trend in CH 4 emissions across much of Asia, including in China and India (Figs. 2 and 3 , Supplementary Figs. 2 and 3 ).

The density of total perfused vessels (lectin+), however, was greater in μV+SA constructs (373 ± 94 vessels/mm 2 ) compared to SA grafts (149 ± 55 vessels/mm 2 ), along with an increasing trend in the average vessel size (Fig. 6c ).
