When the selection was extended to genes with more than 4, 3, or 2 iCLIP peaks, the overlap was increased and also highly significant (Fig. 1c ).

The estimates after 1970 stay consistently above the upper limit of the confidence interval and show an increasing trend, and we thus conclude that the system is moving toward the tipping point with high probability.

This is a stronger result than just observing a significant trend in the EWS by, say, Kendall’s τ test 27 , 33 .

Notably, the data showed that patients who responded well to the treatment had a higher median BRAFi Type I 1/2 MSS than those who did not respond, and this difference was almost significant despite the small sample size (Supplementary Fig.

BALF) at day 14 we found a highly significant reduction of miR-21 (−58%) in RCS-21 treated mice compared to control mice (Fig.

Consistent with the metagene analyses, we observed small but highly significant increases in H3, H3K27me3, and H3K36me3 at gene promoters (median log2 fold-changes 0.2, 0.09, 0.06) compared to gene body and downstream regions (Wilcoxon test, p < 10 −10 ).

Although the correlation between tumor mutational burden (TMB) (DNA variants per Mb) and increased survival was not statistically significant, we observed a positive trend and the overall number of DNA variants correlated positively with increased survival in our heterogenous cohort (Supplementary Fig. 5e ).

At 37 °C, the CH 4 :C 2 H 6 ratio was ~110, with an increasing trend towards higher temperatures.

We further noticed a clear trend that CD83-deficient microglia contributed more to the MHC-II + / Apoe + cluster than control cells (Supplementary Fig. 5d ).

This also holds for the present simulations, except for a decreasing trend in the sill density emerging during the last 1–2 decades of both CTRL and SENS (Supplementary Fig. 7 ).

The binding energies of uranium 4 f orbitals show an increasing trend, as the oxidation states of uranium increase (Supplementary Table 6 ).

We then compared the PNGS numbers in V1s of CRF01_AE and CRF07_BC Envs to those of subtype A, B and C Envs and found that the differences between CRF01_AE and subtypes A, B and C are all highly significant (Fig. 1h ).

Such a decreasing trend was consistent with the venous volume measured with ultrasound imaging but with reduced errors (Fig. 5f ).

Anti-PD-L1 monotherapy also showed a trend of upregulation of this program.

Although several genes showed a trend towards being induced in Arid1a icKO infarct areas (Fig. 7F and Supplemental Fig. 6G ), none of them were significantly changed (two-way ANOVA with Šídák’s multiple comparisons test).

However, no statistically significant reduction in lung viral RNA copies was detected in animals of the molnupiravir group, despite the highly significant reduction in infectious virus titer in these samples.

We also found a clear trend in the dependence of the activity on the Fe concentration in Co 1+δ Fe 2−δ O 4 (111) in the given concentration range: films with a lower Fe concentration have the higher activity, see panel b.

Notably, a clear trend was observed, with higher grades of dysplasia associated with a significantly increased risk of developing ESCC.

Even in these animals with weak neutralizing antibody response, the MVA-ID group showed a trend towards delayed virus acquisition compared to the control group (Fig. 2g ).

However, by day 17, while AUC of BCKAs for the two higher doses were still significantly reduced, the 24 h time points at the lowest doses demonstrated a significant or nearly significant BCKA rebound above vehicle (Supplementary Fig. 6G, K, O ), which occurred in the absence of any changes in plasma drug concentration over the study duration (Supplementary Fig. 6P ) and suggested that PF-07247685 and PF-07238025 elicit similar pharmacological responses.

Although not strictly significant due to the small sample size, this trend aligns with our METAFlux analysis.

Yet, when looking across different PSCs with various intertwined degradation mechanisms, we see a clear trend that more efficient cells are statistically more likely to have a longer lifetime.

Curiously, we also found marginally significant signals of association between PM resistance and SNPs in the Vgsc region ( Vgsc –1570Y positively associated in Baguida and Vgsc –995F negatively associated in Korle-Bu).

In our targeted analyses of SNPs and CNVs in known resistance genes, the number of tests being conducted was considerably smaller and the range of P values that we found to be significant, with the exception of Ace1 , would not come close to significance if FDR control was applied on a genomic scale such as in the GWAS.
