Although fenofibrate treatment did not improve locomotor recovery following spinal contusion injury in mice 81 , a slight trend for increased tissue sparing was observed.

NonCS port-entries were unaffected by CNO and showed a trend towards elevation in the alcohol context compared to the neutral context (Supplementary Fig. 6c ).
does not show a significant trend, which is in line with the work of 34, 20 where no increase in IVT or precipitation trends have been found over a large period of time (Supplementary Fig. 6b, c ).
V1 gamma-band kernels decayed over time (group average slope: −0.017, t (14) = −3.1, p = 0.007) just like the psychophysical kernels, yielding a highly significant temporal correlation (Fig. 4c , left; group average correlation: r = 0.45).
PCA of the replication dataset shows a clear trend of the effect of parasitemia captured in ePC1 explaining 16.2% of the variation in the data (Fig. 1g, h ).
Through counting the number of both significantly hypo- and hypermethylated CpG dinucleotides mapping to each of these genomic elements, a clear trend emerged: promoters, gene bodies, and regions not mapping to promoters, genes or enhancers (red bars) were highly hypomethylated in insulinomas as compared to beta cells (~90% of CpGs) (red bars in Fig. 1c , Supplementary Data 7 , 8 ).
We also observed an overall trend of increasing of Q factors with larger device sizes, consistent with the scaling rule of Eq.
Metformin-educated CD8 + T cells from WT mice also showed a trend of increased mRNA expression for Sell ( CD62L ), Cpt1a and Tfam (mitochondrial transcription factor A) genes (Supplementary Fig. 5b ).
Additionally, the association for the MEPE LoF variant remains highly significant when conditioning for the lead variant of the eBMD analysis (effect size conditional = −0.529 SD, P -value conditional = 5.3 × 10 −18 ).
This was highly significant when compared to the overlap of randomized gene sets of the same number as the number of MPP8-repressed genes (Fig. 5d ).
In addition, we identified a nominally significant enrichment for microglia/astrocyte OCRs in Alzheimer’s disease, which is consistent with a recent study implicating microglia enhancers in Alzheimer’s disease 38 The cell-specific map of chromatin accessibility generated in this study can be used to deconvolute bulk tissue ATAC-seq data from the human brain cortex.
In our study, we found a highly significant increase in both infection rate and number of symptoms when people attended carnival festivities, as compared to people who did not celebrate carnival.
Species showing a significant or marginally significant shift according to K-S test were the same that showed a significant difference between deciles.
Indeed, transcriptional strand bias in XP-C was strong and highly significant for all six classes of nucleotide substitutions grouped by the reference and mutated nucleotide, while in tissue-matched sporadic cancers it was weak or absent (Fig. 3a−c, e and Supplementary Fig. 3a−c ).
In fact, sporadic human cases caused by H7N9, H5N6, and H9N2 continue to be reported 5 , 57 , and the seroprevalence rate of H9N2 AIVs in the poultry workers posed an increasing trend after 2009 in China 7 , 58 .
Indeed, the pronounced focal accumulation of UHRF1-GFP observed in Dppa3KO and T12CM ESCs corresponded with a highly significant increase in the CV values of nuclear UHRF1-GFP compared with wt ESCs (Supplementary Fig. 4i, j ).
During the historical simulation period, the multi-model ensemble interquartile range (IQR—25th, 50th, and 75th percentiles) of the 20 climate models shows a decreasing trend from ~1940–1980 C.E.
The number of individuals who have defaulted and are re-initiating therapy are likely to be significant, and it is impossible to identify such individuals within clinical trials using existing South African data systems.
Although HMGB1 did not reach statistical significance, it still showed a clear trend that higher expression indicated a worse prognosis (Supplementary Figs. 9 and 10 ).
The optimal dose of NARA1leukin was determined to correspond to 0.5 μg hIL-2 equivalent, as higher doses did not further increase CD8 + T and NK cell expansion but showed a trend toward toxicity (Supplementary Fig. 1 ).
Finally, an analysis of tumours with germline pathogenic variants in six high to moderate breast cancer susceptibility genes did not reveal any significant differences between our cohort and TCGA 26 , except for a marginally significant higher prevalence in germline PALB2 mutations (Supplementary Table 4 ).
Yet emissions from deforestation to pasture seem to show a decreasing trend after the 1970s in Latin America and East and Southeast Asia (Supplementary Fig. 1 ).
Discussion In summary, this comprehensive analysis of SSTR2 expression in 402 primary, local recurrent and metastatic NPC patient samples established a highly significant association with EBV infection and suggest a key role for this receptor in this tumor (positive in >80% of samples).
Comparing these ITHs, we found a strong correlation between immune-ITH and RNA-ITH and a positive trend with DNA-ITH (Supplementary Fig. 6a ), indicating a closer relationship between immune and tumour transcriptome landscapes.
The growth of HCT116 xenograft tumours was somewhat sensitive to dietary serine and glycine restriction (as previously shown 7 ) and also showed a trend to a decrease in mice treated with PH755 (Fig. 7c ), consistent with a previous report showing an effect of PH755 on HCT116 tumour growth 24 .
