The impact of an increased sample size on the accurate detection of the transition is highly significant.
Excerpts
In the analysis of the heterogeneity of the treatment arms in the baseline schoolgirls, we found the CI for the HIV prevalence in the CCT versus control changed enough that the borderline significant difference shown in the original analysis is now non-significant by a small margin.
The effect of the cash transfer program on HIV prevalence was not statistically significant, but highly significant for HSV-2 prevalence by permutation test.
However, as the age increases, subjects with age 40–64 showed borderline significance (95% CI, 1.00–2.24) and the subjects with age greater than 65 having a higher prevalence of dementia showed statistical significance.
Discussion Using a nationally representative data set, this study found that the age-standardized mortality of AD and other forms of dementia showed a decreasing trend of prevalence from 2010 to 2015.
In Europe and America, the prevalence of dementia was reported to be stable or decreasing over the last decades, attributing to secular improvement of educational level, population-level reduction in vascular risk factors, and overall reduction in stroke incidence[ 17 – 21 ].However, a number of studies showed an increasing trend in dementia prevalence in Mainland China and Hong Kong[ 22 – 24 ].
There was a small positive correlation between second language proficiency and deliberate reasoning score, reaching significance only in the foreign language condition and being only marginally significant in the switching language condition.
Highly significant correlation (R 2 = 0.94) between the FPKM and 2 -ΔΔCt values of these 27 single-copy genes ( Fig 4 , Table F in S1 File ) demonstrated the reliability of the RNA-seq data in our study.
Third, by using relative width values [ 19 ], we determined whether the pattern of decrease in cementum annuli width showed a trend similar to those seen in other mammals [ 1 ].
a clear trendgold
Nevertheless, there is a clear trend for apoptosis rates to be lower in the bacteriocyte zone than in the ciliated and hemocyte zones.
However, our data show an increasing trend of notifications for all of these MDROs, and the increase is ongoing despite the development and implementation of comprehensive infection prevention and control measures, including antibiotic stewardship, in Norwegian health care [ 16 ].
Only “Color of dorsal fin” was found to show significant convergence with the water type from which the samples were collected, while “Color of dorsal lobe of caudal fin” approached significance ( Table 2 ).
While the increase was statistically marginally significant, this 1% increase in emergency care utilization may be extrapolated to about 32,000 people in the 3.2 million Yaoundé population.
However, what the present study does allow us to conclude is that even clinically mild PBC is associated with highly significant alterations in structure and/or function of the thalamus and insula.
According to Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC), an increasing trend in food-borne and water-borne diseases was observed in South Korea from 2015 to 2019, with the causative pathogenic agents, being E . coli for 6.3% of the cases, and Salmonella spp. for 3.5%.
Leucopenia prevalence showed a decreasing trend with increment of age, ranging from 11.6%-33.7% within different age categories.
Spirulina supplementation also showed a trend of reducing the incidence of pneumonia, severe fever, and fever compared to control supplementation, although the effect was not significant.
Highly significant (±100% variation) deviation in the interface energy due to the amino acid substitution was observed for four interactions ( Fig 6 ).
a slight trendgold
Furthermore, there was a slight trend that zooplankton mean length declined during this period in the fish enclosures.
The median number of days in hospital per patient (total days of hospitalization during follow up) was 6.0 (IQR 3.0–12.0) for all patients, with a decreasing trend comparing hATTR-CM reference (6.0 days [IQR 3.0–12.0]) to hATTR-CM-like (4.0 days [IQR 1.0–10.5] ( Table 6 ).
Even with a conservative Bonferroni correction for 8 tests, 4 lipid levels causing total BMD and total BMD causing 4 lipid measures (threshold of .05/8 = .0063), LDL-C significantly causes total heel BMD, with p -values also nominally significant for right and left heel measures separately.
The patient group had lower scores in all neuropsychological tests compared with control group, but only statistically significant in MMSE and Taylor complex figure test and borderline significant in digit backward test after adjusting for age, sex, and educational level.
Results Genotypic variations in minerals in relation to drought stresses ANOVA showed a highly significant effect of both genotype and drought treatment on the mineral grain concentration and yield of most of the 11 mineral elements (Zn, Fe, Se, Ca, Cu, K, Mn, Mg, Na, P and S) evaluated ( S3 Table ).
Our results indicated that the relative mRNA level of igf2 showed a decreasing trend to 6 HPO and HPS and then increased until the complete loss of egg viability occurred.
For the interaction terms, their coefficients are positive and highly significant, regardless of the income measures and uncertainty variables used.
