It showed an increasing trend before 1998 and a decreasing trend after 1998, confirming the weakening of the MH intensity during the GWH period (Fig. 5a ).

Similar to SST, upper ocean heat content (0–200 m) and sea level anomaly show a positive trend during the GWH period (Fig. 2b ) confirming the warming of the upper water column during the period.

SST anomaly in the MH region shows a negative trend during the preGWH and positive trend during the GWH (Fig. 2a ; red line).

The lack of a significant trend in rainfall was mainly due to Indian monsoon is a complex nonlinear phenomenon involving atmosphere, ocean, and land-based processes 34 .

However, our results did not show a decreasing trend in 20 years’ time period for any studied nutrients in the CR-LTE plots.

pyright-statement © The Author(s) 2020 Introduction According to the European Centre for Disease, Prevention and Control (ECDC), migrants in the European Union/European Economic Area (EU/EEA) have a higher risk of HIV infection and related co-infections, such as HBV, HCV and tuberculosis (TB), with an increasing trend in populations from Latin America and East Europe, and a decreasing one in populations from sub-Saharan Africa, although they still represent half of diagnosed individuals 1 , 2 .

We found that Rhbdf2 −/− mice had a significant bone phenotype; in line with our GWAS data, Rhbdf2 −/− mice displayed a highly significant increase in BV/TV and Tb.N (Fig. 6 ).

Since 1980, the northern region has experienced a warming trend of 0.07 to 0.11 °C yr −1 , whereas the more southern region experienced a warming of 0.01 to 0.07 °C yr −1 ; with four stations showing a significant trend at <0.1 level (Table S1 ).

The THg concentration in Wijdefjorden showed a decreasing trend from terrestrial to coastal (offshore) regions.

One possible explanation is that NSCLCs with radical proliferation may have an insufficient blood supply in terms of an increasing trend towards a large volume, which usually leads to intratumoural necrosis.

Compared with NM, the M treatment community showed a trend of increased relative abundance of Acidobacteria and Gemmatimonadetes, but decreased relative abundance of Actinobacteria (Fig. 5a ).

Among ever smokers, a positive trend in AO incidence was found in men as age increased [1.05 (1.03–1.07)], whereas this age trend was lees steep and did not reach statistical significance in women [1.02 (0.99–1.04)] (Fig. 3 ).

However, in altitudes above 3500 m (which accounts for about 16% of the Tienshan Mountains area), there were very small decreases in the S/P, with about 32% of the grids showing an increasing trend due to the temperature always remaining below freezing.

The total water storage (TWS) indicates a decreasing trend based on GRACE data in the Tienshan Mountains in 2003–2013, with a decline rate of −3.72 mm/year (Fig. 5e ), especially in the Middle Tienshan Mountains, falling at a rate of −5.5 mm/year 15 .

We found a borderline significant benefit that the incidence of severe hypoxemia was lower in the patients with high PaO 2 /FiO 2 ratio undergoing oxygen therapy with HFNC during endotracheal intubation compared to those under standard of care (risk ratio for interaction = 0.993, 95% CI = 0.987 to 0.999; I 2 = 10.52%; Table 2 ).

Although the year-to-year correlation of grain residuals was not significant, the correlations between shoot and grain residuals were highly significant (Fig. 5 ).

In a first exploratory analysis of 177 SLE patients, a strong trend towards a significant difference in plasma MBL concentrations between patients with and without CVD was observed.

GLRX3 and PXDN showed a trend for higher expression in fresh CL.

A p value, greater than 0.05 but less than 0.1, was considered marginally significant.

Furthermore, with marginal significance, patients with a CCIS greater than 9 tended to be older than those with a CCIS equal to or less than 9.

Under starvation conditions, only PDK4 del/del cells showed significantly more perinuclear localization of mitochondria as compared to controls but PDK4 wt/del cells also showed an increasing trend.

When quantified, the results showed that while all genotypes showed a trend towards more P-PDH under starvation conditions, this phenomenon was significant in only the PDK4 wt/del and PDK4 del/del cells ( Fig. 4D ) .

Notable exceptions were that CA supplementation resulted in significantly higher CA levels in the faeces of supplemented mice than controls, which was not seen in the caecum; and the highly significant elevations of LCA with UDCA treatment found in the caecum were not present in the faeces.

Some TFs (TAL1 and SOX18) induced significantly enhanced barrier properties, and a positive trend was seen when seven others were transduced (colored bars) (Fig. 1a ).

In conclusion, when the laser scanning speed is higher than 10 mm/s, the intensity of spectral lines increases with the increase of laser power, however, when the laser scanning speed is low, for the shape effect of molten pool surface, the relative intensity shows a decreasing trend after its original increase.
