Highly significant increases in median nFLAIR, CNI, and CCrI were observed for NAV→NEL ( p = 1.5 × 10 –16 , 2.4 × 10 –15 , 2.8 × 10 –16 , respectively) voxels compared to stable NAV voxels, while increases in median nADC also reached a statistical significance of p = 0.0009.

In the univariate model, PIP (chosen to represent all other heart rate fragmentation measures) demonstrated a highly significant ability to predict mortality (p = 1.71E-16).
The inherited expanded CAG repeat length and the age at sampling were shown to have a highly significant association with the ratio of somatic CAG expansions of the disease-associated allele observed in blood DNA (p < 2 × 10 −16 ).
After including non-LA ω-6 PUFA in the model, the association of the FADS with LDL-c remains highly significant ( p < 2.0 × 10 −16 ).
We note that this overlap was highly significant ( Figure 2b , Fisher test P <2×10 −16 ), suggesting that age and tumor presence elicit common changes in the DNAm pattern of peripheral blood.
We found 1341 of 4404 that passed QC in our own study (30.4%) were nominally associated with ethnicity (p<0.05), which represented a highly significant (p<2×10 −16 ) enrichment.
Finally, LASSO analysis was not adjusted for age due to its high correlation with diagnosis (Pearson r = 0.74) and strong potential for solely predicting diagnosis, indicating a highly significant association (logistic regression estimate = 0.225, p < 2e‐16, Akaike information criterion [AIC] = 124,231).
A model without interaction showed a highly significant effect of voxel on spectral quality ( Fig. 3 a ; F (1,79.12) = 183.73, p < 2 × 10 −16 ), with LO linewidth broader than EVC.
An analysis of ChEMBL data demonstrated a highly significant relationship between bioactivities in human and rat targets ( R = 0.71, p < 2 e - 16 ), although outliers were identified for targets such as the Histamine H 3 receptor ( Kruger and Overington, 2012 ).
Compared with dense forest, analysis of the variance between these three habitats reveals a highly significant difference ( p ‐value < 2e‐16).
Laminar quantification showed a highly significant difference in Iba1 intensity across cortical layers [ F (4,531) = 90.19, p < 2 × 10 –16 ; one-way ANOVA] with the highest intensity in L1 ( Figure 7E ; L1 vs.
A highly significant difference in allelic frequencies was observed across all analyzed polymorphisms (chi-squared test, p < 2 −16 ).
In contrast, Sunitinib had a strong and highly significant effect on the fusion index of 54.12 cells at all concentrations tested (p<2 × 10 –16 ).
I do think it is appropriate to highlight those smooth terms which are extremely significant (p<2e-16) according to this test.
In the total Cape Verde sample, skin pigmentation is significantly correlated with individual ancestry, with a clear trend towards darker pigmentations with increasing levels of West African ancestry (Pearson r = 0.54, P -value <2e–16; including sex as a covariate).
Finally, note that RRF was actually so fast at small chunk sizes that there was a significant overhead associated with our parallelization of the algorithm (Methods), as linear models fitted to only chunk sizes less than 200 were highly significant ( P <2.00×10 −16 ), with negative slopes (Fig. 1 b).
This difference in wing length was highly significant (t = −57.479, p < 2e-16).
As for senior authorship, the difference between men and women was highly significant in both the 1999 (166 vs. 47, p = 2e-16), and in the 2009 cohort (188 vs. 115, p = 3e-5), but inspection of the absolute difference reveals that this difference is diminishing.
Of these 316 genes, 81.5% (256) were found in our original list, a highly significant overlap ( P < 2 × 10 -16 , Fisher's exact test), demonstrating the reproducibility of our methodology.
The intercept had an estimated coefficient of 0.8443, which is highly significant (p < 2e-16), indicating a strong positive relationship between the dependent variable and the constant term.
Specifically, adjusting for African ancestry in a multiple regression model largely eliminated the highly significant effect of Black ethnicity on serum creatinine levels (decreased from P<2x10 -16 to a marginally significant P=0.05) whilst the highly significant effect of African ancestry on creatinine remained essentially unchanged when adjusted for Black ethnicity (P<2x10 -16 before and after adjustment).
General linear model showed that clinical symptoms have a highly significant effect on the number of cMBs (N = 2.78, 95%CI [2.51–3.07], p<2*10–16; ndf = 78, AIC = 1218).
The differences between transdifferentiation factors and all other TFs are highly significant (one-sided Kolmogorov-Smirnov (KS) test, expression p-value<2*10 −16 ; H3K27me3 p-value<2*10 −16 ).
The effect of mammalian molecular evolutionary rate was highly significant ( p < 2 × 10 −16 , Table 1 ).
However, the overlap between these two very different approaches is highly significant (Fisher's exact test, p < 2 × 10 −16 ), and the functional enrichments they identify are similar (see below).
