We identified highly significant correlation differences between incident CAD cases and controls ( p < 5 × 10 –5 ); eGFR correlated more strongly with 3-hydroxyisobutyrate ( r case-to-control = 0.29), citrate ( r case-to-control = 0.42), and glycine ( r case-to-control = 0.35), while 4-deoxyerythronic acid correlated less strongly with triglycerides ( r case-to-control = −0.35), and hypoxanthine with creatinine ( r case-to-control = −0.30) in individuals with incident CAD.

When the same analysis was run three times, comparing the intention-offloading/nonoffloading task with the other tasks one by one, the intention-offloading/nonoffloading predictor was always highly significant, t (990) > 4.0, p < .00005, but none of the other three was, t (990) < 1.35, p > .17.
Taking a total of a 20-week interval (as transmission events between hospital cases with an onset further than 20 weeks apart is assumed to be unlikely), the model revealed a highly significant Box-Pierce Q-statistic (X 2 = 54.59, degrees of freedom (df) = 20, p = 0.00005), indicating non-independence.
There was such increases of 4.4 dB for each of the groups Education , Other and Music , and they were highly significant (p<0.00005, Tukey's HSD).

When exposing 104C1 cells that acquire a fibroblast morphology to increasing concentrations of KDC203, we observed highly significant ( p <0.00005) dose-dependent reductions in PrP C levels ( Fig 2A ).
BALB/c mice vaccinated with 20 μg of SLA plus 50 μg of CpG ODN showed a highly significant (P<5×10 −5 ) reduction in swelling compared to SLA-vaccinated mice and enhanced survival compared to unvaccinated mice.

Figure 1 presents the corresponding Manhattan plot showing the p -value (−log10 p ) of each SNP analyzed as well as indicating both thresholds for significance (the GWAS p -value of significance and the p -value suggestive of significance; p < 5 × 10 −5 ).
Across the significant surprise effects, this yielded a highly significant positive correlation (r = 0.75, p < 0.00005; Fig. 2C ).
The difference between the performance of two group in OSPE was highly significant ( P < 0.00005).
Moreover, we compute the Pearson correlation coefficient (r) and mean absolute error (MAE) for cellularity estimations, and the results show that the estimated cellularity of CLImAT-HET has a highly significant positive correlation (r > 0.99, p -value < 5 × 10 −5 , MAE < = 0.02) with the underlying cellularity across all simulated samples (Fig. 3a , b and c ), which demonstrates CLImAT-HET’s ability to precisely recover clonal architecture.
The difference between male and female patients was highly significant ( P = 0.00005, χ 2 test).
A recent GWA meta-analysis in Crohn's disease identified 74 independent SNPs as nominally significant ( p <5×10 −5 ) [24] .

Using a highly significant P value cutoff ( P < 0.00005), we identified 12 proteins that exhibit differential expression between these OA subsets (Figure 3 ).
This revealed a highly significant correlation (r = 0.80, p<0.00005; Appendix 2—figure 1D ).
In particular, contrary to males, mutant females showed highly significant upregulation of Neuropeptide-like precursor 4 ( nplp4 ) and target of brain insulin ( tobi ) genes ( p = 5 × 10 −5 ).
