Genes within cluster 2 conversely showed a decreasing trend in expression from DR to 3-6h-PD before increasing in expression by 24h, while genes within clusters 3 and 4 both increased in expression from DR, peaking by 3-6h-PD before decreasing in expression by 24h-PD ( Figure 6A ).

Next, the TS group showed a trend of increased Iba-1 positive cells and elevated levels of inflammatory factors TNF-α and IL-6, as well as an enhanced M1-polarization marker (iNOS) and an attenuated M2-polarization marker (Arg-1).

Conditional analysis of the 499 significant features revealed 135 jointly (129 unique genes) and 364 marginally significant features ( Supplementary Table S3 ), indicating that many identified genes were linked to AITD owing to their co-expression with the 135 independent features.

CXCL10 and FGF2 data showed a trend towards increased levels in the co-cultures ( Figures 4F, I ).

As shown in Figures 4G-I , the contents of LGM and C3 in the intestine showed an increasing trend with increased dietary YG levels compared with the LFM group.
