In fact, happiness was not associated with any dimension of mentalization, whereas self-esteem was associated with all but one (i.e., in case of attachment-based others the result is suggestive but not significant: B = 0.299, p = 0.050).
Subsequent t -tests for paired samples revealed that in song, right BA 47 showed predominance over left BA 47 [ t (20) = −2.485, p < 0.022], whereas the nominally opposite lateralization in speech fell short of significance ( p > 0.05).
With improvements in the education level, the degree of parental care and encouragement and the EC ( F (994) = 8.05, p < 0.01), PT ( F (994) = 6.27, p < 0.01) and FS ( F (994) = 5.50, p < 0.01) empathy items showed an increasing trend, while the degree of parental control and PD ( F (994) = 2.98, p < 0.05) showed a decreasing trend.
On the other hand, feeling stress due to short-term work problems in the case of women is marginally significant ( p -value = 0.05) related to an increase in telomere length.
Conversely, among low usual media multitaskers, the 25-trial omission moving average was associated with a marginally statistically significant linear decrease (β = −0.01; P < 0.05), with an adjusted R 2 value of 0.19.
The expectation by SA interaction was marginally significant [ F (1,53) = 4.12, p = 0 .05, η p 2 = 0.07], suggesting that memory performance for expected and unexpected stimuli varied with SA level.
Both identification with the community and interpersonal contact were uniquely positively related to willingness to participate ( Table 2 ; Step 3c), yet interpersonal contact became only marginally significant ( p = 0.050) 6 .
The results showed that friendship quality did not play a significant role in predicting loneliness for typically developing students, students with ASD and students with motor and/or sensory disabilities, although there was a marginally significant effect of friendship quality on loneliness (−0.21, p < 0.05) for the entire group of students with SEN (special education needs).
Analysis of variance (ANOVA) revealed a significant contribution of interval type in the main effects model ( F (1, 233) = 31.34, p < 0.001); the interaction of language type and interval type significantly improved the model fit in a second-order interaction model comparison, F (1, 229) = 10.01, p = 0.002; and the third-order interaction model also showed a borderline significant improvement ( F (3, 226) = 2.70, p = 0.05).
However, this difference is only nearly significant ( F = 3.752; p > 0.05) with a small effect size ( d = 0.10), whereas, as regards the relationship with teacher score, significant differences were found with primary school children that score better than secondary school children ( F = 7.647; p < 0.01) with small effect size ( d = 0.14).
The main effects of school-based involvement ( β = 0.13, p < 0.001) and parent-teacher relationship ( β = 0.26, p < 0.001) were both significant, while their interaction term was marginally significant ( β = 0.12, p = 0.05).
There was a marginally significant PoA × VOT interaction in medial aspects of the left AC, but only when the extent threshold was reduced to an uncorrected cluster size of p < 0.05, while keeping the peak threshold at p < 0.001.
The regression analysis demonstrated that work time control had a highly significant and positive correlation with job engagement ( b = 3.95, SE = 1.70, p < 0.05) and innovation ( b = 4.67, SE = 0.96, p < 0.01).
One-factorial ANOVAs for the factor session for the patients and controls separately with target locations either PRL or OppPRL indicated a marginally significant quadratic trend (blue line in Figure 7 , upper right panel) for the control group [ F (1,9) = 5.05; p = 0.05, not corrected for multiple comparisons; otherwise p = 0.1, Bonferroni corrected].
However, there was a strong trend for mean BVPamp [ t (16) = −2.119; p = 0.050; effect size d = 0.51], which was lower during paraphrasing than during taking notes.
The significant relation between children’s social mirroring skills at 12 months and DSR at 4 years of age r partial (36) = 0.32, p = 0.048, remained significant when controlling for gender, while the relation between MSR at 24 months and DSR at 4 years of age remained marginally significant when controlling for gender; r partial (46) = 0.23, p = 0.05, as did the relation between the SF smile effect and social mirroring at 12 months, r partial (44) = 0.22, p = 0.07.
In the FM domain, child age (β = 0.52; p = 0.001) was a significant predictor while parent’s anxiety ratings were approaching significance (β = −0.34; p = 0.050).
The results of Pearson’s correlation was weakly significant in terms of chronological age ( r = –0.4; p < 0.05), as displayed in Figure 4 , and strongly significant in terms of years of expertise ( r = –0.7261), as shown in Figure 5 .
A marginally significant main effect was found for BI [ F (1, 74) = 3.91, p = 0.05], indicating that overall, participants made more errors in trials which did not require BI (i.e., CBA or DBA task sequence) compared to trials which did require BI (i.e., ABA task sequence).
This difference was found to be marginally significant when examining the EHQ subscale of feelings about healthy eating, χ 2 (4) = 9.48, p = 0.050, Cramer’s V = 0.27.
Results First, as regards cannabis effects, our data showed a trend towards more severe positive symptoms (PANSS, p = 0.05) and better performance in manipulative abilities (matrix test-WAIS, p = 0.041) among cannabis users compared to non-users.
