Overall, most exons studied were significantly misspliced in adult DM1 brain samples, compared to non-DM controls: eight out of eleven exons were affected in frontal cortex ( ITGB4 exon 35 and MPDZ exon 28 showed a clear trend but did not reach statistical significance) (Fig. 9d ), whereas all exons studied were misspliced in the hippocampus of DM1 patients (Fig. 9e ).

Later studies showed an increasing trend of resistance to ampicillin and neomycin, while continuing susceptibility to chloramphenicol and streptomycin 15 , 26 , 27 .

The cumulative abundance of AA2 proteins had a decreasing trend with increasing solids loadings (Supplementary Fig. 13A ).

Consistent with the IP and western blot results, STRING network analysis indicated a highly significant interaction of TgIST with HDAC1 and MTA1 and other Mi-2/NuRD components (Fig. 1b ).

We detected a clear trend: the Ki67, LDHA, and MCT4 levels were increased from grade II to grade III and gained to grade IV (Fig. 2b ), and there was a positive correlation between the levels of above LA metabolic indicators and the extent of glioma proliferation (Supplementary Fig. 1 ).

It is evident that there is a weak trend of increasing the energy with smaller device area, with μBLASTs exceeding 1 fJ/μm 2 in energy dissipation, but the results still indicate that device scaling still greatly benefits the devices.

Collagen XII (COL12A1) demonstrated highly significant up-regulation in tumours at all stages of development compared to healthy controls (Fig. 2a ).

The defined groups between cohorts were sex balanced, but slightly significant differences were found in terms of age (Table 1 ).

In contrast, there was a trend with borderline significance that showed higher BA.4 and BA.5 escape in people living with HIV who were unvaccinated (Fig.

The resulting Kendall τ coefficient ranges between −1 and 1: where values close to 1 indicate an increasing trend, and −1 a decreasing trend.

To measure the strength of the trends in the indicators for each period, we use the Kendall’s τ correlation coefficient, in which positive values indicate an increasing trend, interpreted as declining resilience 29 .

The number of crown-like structures (CLS) was higher, and the number of MAC2 + cells had an increasing trend (Fig. 2f , S4D ).

In addition, carriers of the risk allele at rs1869799 and rs1535532 also showed a trend towards higher cortisol over aldosterone ratio (Supplementary Fig. 9 b, d), and carriers of the risk allele at rs1902272 a trend towards lower corticosterone levels (Supplementary Fig. 9 f).

However, with a substantial proportion of the population successfully being linked to treatment due to testing, there may be significant cost savings (to both hospitals and patients) from averted hospitalizations, specifically among patients who may be driven to debt as a result of these expenses 19 – 21 .

While loss of IL-1β restricted to hematopoietic cells showed a trend towards increased levels of IL-1Ra in BM, this trend was not observed in mice with complete loss of IL-1β in all tissues (Supplementary Fig. 7c ), suggesting that the overall activity of IL-1 signaling is reduced when IL-1β is lost in hematopoietic cells only.

Finally, fasting induced an almost significant change in C18:3n3, C18:2n6, C14:0 (myristic acid) and C18:1n9cis (oleic acid) in brain (Fig.

S5e ) damages; and from leukopenia (most strongly monocyte counts, but also showing a clear trend in total white blood cells and lymphocyte counts, Fig.

The proportion of PCs showed a trend from increasing to decreasing which peaked on days 14 (Fig. 5b, c ).

The sea-surface salinity reconstructed for the eastern subpolar North Atlantic (MD95-2002 Core) indeed exhibits an increasing trend during the AHP2 termination (Supplementary Figs. 2 , 15e ).

This limiting law derived by Manning 28 may not be valid at low external salt concentrations where electrostatic interactions between different chains may be significant, due to the very small amount of mobile salt sorbed in the polymer.

For all three targets, the full-length R98A mutant shows a highly significant reduction in enrichment over the input.

Consistent with this, there is no difference in the breakdown of C1 and C2 tumours by stage in any of the cohorts and although higher patient numbers are required to permit robust stage-by-stage survival analysis, a clear trend of higher survival rates for C1 patients is observed within each tumour stage (Supplementary Data 7 ).

Recent evidence points towards an increasing trend in fires over several forest fire-dominated BB regions, such as Siberia, North America, and Australia, resulting in substantially high BB aerosol (BBA) emissions 4 – 7 .

However, the landslide behaviors presented in this study do not refute those observations; rock mass may have very large friction angles, cohesion stemming from mineral behavior, roots, and capillary stresses may be significant at shallow depths in soil.
