Notably, all formulations exerted a protective effect on SOL muscle force in AGED mice, with an increasing trend in sPtw (R.S.: 20–25%), paralleled by a significant increase in sP0 and by higher tetanus–frequency curves, with a statistically significant difference vs. untreated mice from the frequency of 40Hz onwards ( Figure 4 A–C).
Excerpts
Notably, torque–frequency curves from all AGED cohorts, overlapping at T0 ( Figure 1 C), at T12 showed a trend towards increasing in mice treated with BCAAs + Di-ALA and, to a lesser extent, in those treated with BCAAs + 2ALA, with the R.S. towards ADULT values ranging between 20% and 108% at each frequency ( Figure 1 D).
It is evident from Figure 1 B that with increasing concentrations of Frondoside A (0.35–1 μM), the inhibitory effects on cell migration showed an increasing trend.
Labeling of additives showed a trend of avoiding writing additives with their E-numbers.
The results of the crossover analyses indicated that a maternal supplement of a combination of folic acid and multivitamin (AOR = 0.67, 95% CI = 0.50~0.90), as well as maternal supplement of a combination of folic acid and iron (AOR = 0.70, 95% CI = 0.52~0.96) significantly decreased the risk of obesity in preschoolers born SGA; while only maternal folic acid supplementation during pregnancy decreased the risk of obesity with significance (AOR = 0.73, 95% CI = 0.55~0.97) in the crossover analysis on a combination of folic acid and multivitamin, and marginal significance (AOR = 0.77, 95% CI = 0.57~1.04) in the crossover analysis on a combination of folic acid and iron, respectively.
At the time of this study’s data collection (2012–2013), Portugal presented a decreasing trend of the pediatric overweight prevalence, estimated at −1.2% per year, but still one of the highest rates of obesity among European countries [ 17 , 54 , 55 ].
When MeDi adherence was entered into the models as tertiles, those in the highest tertile, that is, those having the greatest MeDi adherence, had 46% lower risk for depression for every unit increase in the MedDietScore, compared with those having the lowest MeDi adherence ( p = 0.006), with a significant trend for dose–response ( Table 2 , Figure 2 ).
[ 35 ] reported a slightly significant effect of tea on ovarian cancer.
Moreover, the BMI showed an increasing trend in all age groups, as shown in Figure 2 .
Overall, the bench press 1RM, deep squat 1RM, MVIC and maximal repetitions of 60% 1RM bench press showed an increasing trend, while the deep squat 1RM and MVIC showed statistical differences in this increase.
Conclusions Although only a small proportion of all packaged food products in Kenya and Nigeria contained specific ingredients indicative of iTFAs, the potential impact on public health may be significant given the increasing market share and greater demand for packaged food.
The SUN prospective cohort showed an inverse, weakly significant dose-response relationship for MUFAs on depression [ 9 ], while data on the protective effects of oleic acid (C18:1) are more consistent [ 56 ].
However, when compared with the control group, the intervention group only had a significantly higher mean change in potassium from baseline to 6 weeks, despite protein and fibre approaching significance at this time point indicating positive trends.

Similarly, calcium showed a positive trend between groups at 8 months (non-significant), and increases in the intervention group may have been explained in part by many participants choosing to increase their milk intake as part of the healthy protein habit.
Although lycopene mitigated mitochondrial quality control disorder via regulating the SIRT1/PINK1/mitophagy axis and the mitochondrial unfolded protein response [ 89 ], the positive correlation of the intake of lycopene with the expression of PINK1 was just beyond significance.
Simultaneously, fecal moisture content showed an increasing trend.
Comparison of the ≥60 group with the 41–50 group demonstrated that the older subjects had highly significant values for BMI and hs troponin I.
Nevertheless, we found highly significant differences in the energy, protein, and nutrient intakes of our subjects compared with the recommended levels and demonstrated a significant impact of ENIs, indicating a major problem related to micronutrient and antioxidant deficiencies in ICU patients. 5.
By contrast, compared with HFD_C, the symbiotic significantly elevated the abundance of Blautia , Gammaproteobacteria and HTCC2188 , and showed a trend toward increasing the abundance of Roseburia in HFD_H ( Figure 4 E).

From the taxa indicated by RDA to be associated with HM butyrate, HM Acinetobacter relative abundance indeed showed a positive trend with HM butyrate concentration.
The global prevalence of NAFLD was estimated at 32.4% (95% CI 29.9–34.9), with male predominance and an increasing trend over time [ 9 ].
In the heat cluster map ( Figure 5 A), the gene expression of the ALI group and LP-cs-presupplemented group showed significant differences as compared with the control, and a very different clustering was observed in the LP-cs-Gel-presupplemented group, which indicated that there might be significant differences between LP-cs-Gel and LP-cs in the effect and molecular regulation mechanism.
A few months after that, if crop relocation and/or greenhouse ramp-up [ 25 ] are successful, a significant amount of staple crops could become available again, and possibly significant quantities of single cell protein as well, if industrial production ramp-up succeeds [ 26 , 28 ].
When p < 0.05, the differences were considered statistically significant, and when 0.05 < p < 0.10, the differences were considered marginally significant. 3.
Those who participated in an interview were more likely to be from the east/Greater London/south east/south west, be multiparous and not do paid work than those who completed the questionnaire, but the differences were only weakly significant (data not shown).
