There was a significant outcome by streak interaction (F(1,17) = 4.85, p = .04), indicating that subjects showed a trend toward win-stay-lose-shift after short streaks, but no such pattern after long streaks.

There was a slight trend of decreases in bet size after a series of wins, but this was not significant.

Unlike GWASs, P-values for SNPs associated with genes were generally moderately significant and only a few of them would qualify at the so called genome-wide significance level.

Our findings of a positive trend between TV-viewing at 45 y and subsequent BMI and, less consistently, for work sitting, are specific to mid-adulthood.

Implications and conclusions In summary, we found an increasing trend of higher 45–50 y BMI gain with higher TV-viewing at 45 y and although no trend was seen for work sitting, there was a detrimental effect on BMI gain for those sitting for 2–3 h/d.

There was no linear trend between time spent sitting at work and 45 y and 50 y BMI (Model 1, Table 2 ), but a negative trend with BMI change 45–50 y, i.e.

The M-ratio test, however, produced highly significant results for both these populations, as well as for Sobrado, Queixa, Courel-L9B and Vegarada.

In Table 4 we show that in different historic moments, a highly significant correlation between high RCA in science and fast economic growth in the following year can be demonstrated.
