However, we found that the N/S in the internal branches of the highlander-specific haplogroups (1 ≤ ρ ≤ 4, N/S = 0.69) was nearly significant higher than that of all the 36,914 sequences (1 ≤ ρ ≤ 4, N/S = 0.47, P = 0.058) ( Fig. 3D , Table S6).

Not only was this pattern identified when all FC edges were examined, but, suggestively, it was also identified for the subset of edges comprising higher-order RSN nodes (the binomial test results are marginally significant, however; p = 0.058).
The difference in DFS was only marginally significant (84.3% vs. 79.9%, respectively, P = 0.058), while no difference was detected in LRFS between the two groups (91.6% vs. 91.7%, P = 0.471).
Bonferroni-corrected post-hoc analysis on the interaction effect revealed a significant difference (p = .03) between CS+ 1ws (mean = 523.77 ms; sd = 149.42 ms) and CS+ 2ws (mean = 540.63 ms; sd = 161.03 ms) in the second hemiblock; a marginally significant effect emerged also for the first hemiblock (p = .058), with CS+ 1ws (mean = 517.36 ms; sd = 142.10 ms) presenting slightly faster reaction times than CS+ 2ws (mean = 527.55 ms; sd = 147.02 ms).
In contrast, for determination coefficients, randomized block design two-way ANOVA results indicated significant or marginally significant main effects of training and test and interactions ([position]; a main effect of training: F(4, 20) = 2.73, p = 0.0581; a main effect of test: F(4, 20) = 14.08, p < 0.0001; interaction between training and test: F(16, 80) = 6.56, p < 0.0001; [velocity]; a main effect of training: F(4, 20) = 11.62, p < 0.0001; a main effect of test: F(4, 20) = 26.25, p < 0.0001; interaction between training and test: F(16, 80) = 36.00, p < 0.0001).
For the band 1342 cm −1 , though there is no statistically significant changes between the two end groups, a marginally significant p value ( p = 0.0584) exists for the 200 °F10s vs. 450 °F30s groups.
The best model included a marginally significant negative association with the Perimeter/Area ratio ( p = 0.0584; Table S2 ; Fig.
Older animals were less active than younger animals (main effect of age, F (2, 47) = 27.36, P < 0.0001) though the interaction was just short of significance (F (2, 47) = 3.014, P = 0.0586).
showed a trendp = 0.0586
In contrast, E3 mice on a HFD treated with insulin showed a trend towards exploring the novel object more than the familiar object ( t = 1.756, p = 0.0586) (Fig. 2 F).
1 , the RTs of deceptive responses (385.17 ± 84.47 ms) were longer than the RTs of truthful responses (375.54 ± 88.09 ms), and the difference was marginally significant (t(26) = 1.976, p = 0.059).
Contrary to the expectation of coral lipid content being reduced by environmental stress, the total tissue lipid content in O-corals showed a marginally significant increase when transplanted to N-site (Tukey-HSD, P = 0.059, SI.1A ), while N-corals showed very little change in their lipid content between the sites (Fig. 2 B).
borderline non-significantp = 0.059
The intergroup difference was borderline non-significant ( p = 0.059).
Following this up with two separate analysis for each assessment day, we found the main effect of stimulation on the second (but not the first) day of assessment at the level of near-significant tendency (F (2; 69) = 2.944; p = 0.059; ηp 2 = 0.079), with higher accuracy for abstract words in anodal tDCS than in sham group, albeit only at tendency level (p = 0.091; Z = − 2.2) (Fig. 5 ).
very close to significancep = 0.059
However, such a difference was very close to significance also in the ET [ t (22) = −2.65, p = 0.059, d = −0.53], and the Bayes factor value (BF 10 = 3.6) provided moderate support to the alternative hypothesis.
The factor of gender did not reach significance (Wald χ 2 (1) = 2.477, p = 0.116), but the interaction of culture and gender became borderline significant (Wald χ 2 (3) = 7.456, p = .059).
approached significancep = 0.059
There were no significant differences between groups for age, gender (although this approached significance, p = 0.059), Latino/Hispanic ethnicity, employment status, or musical training (all p values > 0.05).
Significant individual predictors: Involuntary memory While Model 3 (see Table 4 ) was statistically significant, none of the individual predictors reached conventional levels of significance, although MAIA Noticing showed a positive trend (B = 0.266, SE = 0.138, t = 1.92, p = .059, β = 0.245), suggesting individuals more attuned to bodily sensations may experience more involuntary memories.
Although parity was not significant in the general model, an important trend was evidenced in parity 3 (coef. = 3.33; p = 0.059), which could reflect a critical stage in the maturation of maternal behavior, consistent with the observations of 29 .

In 3D tissue reconstructions, pore volumes were greater in Lat-A-treated tissue (274,042.8 ± 123,184.9 μm 3 ) compared with untreated tissue (166,297.3 ± 34,933.7 μm 3 ) with borderline significance (p = 0.059).
A potential mechanism for these associations is suggested by the marginally significant ( p = 0.059) finding of increased levels of CRP, a marker of systemic chronic inflammation, associated with RT.
Self-reported overall general well-being almost reached statistical significance ( Z = 1.890, p = 0.059).
