Three-parameter linear/ k th-power regression fits obtained to each combined set of ARE- bla - or ARE- luc -assay response data provided good fits ( R 2 = .99 or .91, respectively, P fit > .99) that each incorporate a highly significant negative initial linear slope ( P = 4 × 10 −5 or .00025) and an overall J-shaped DR pattern.

The prevalence of pffp2 mutations showed an increasing trend over the time points ( χ 2 = 16.7647, p = 0.00004) as shown in Figure 4 .
A highly significant difference was detected in hemoglobin levels among GSD1b patients (Wilcoxon signed-rank test, V = 253, p -value ≈ 4.028e−05).
Consistent with these opposite changes in rates, there was a highly significant drop in the correlation of events in the two networks ( n = 9 brain slices; pre‐cut R 2 range = 0.83–0.98; post‐cut R 2 range = 0.33–0.58; P = 4.1 × 10 −5 ; Wilcoxon rank sum test).
There was a total of 16 variants of the GTF2F2 region that produced a highly significant signal ( P = 4.1 × 10 -5 - 5.28 × 10 -6 ), whereas the two variants of KCTD4 were not associated with NCP 4 ( P = 0.02 - 0.03).
Last, we evaluated the evidence for 14 previously published aneurysm risk single‐nucleotide polymorphisms through collaboration in extended aneurysm cohorts, with a total of 6548 cases and 16 843 controls (IA) and 4391 cases and 37 904 controls (AAA), and found nominally significant associations for IA risk locus 18q11 near RBBP8 to AAA (odds ratio [OR]=1.11; P =4.1×10 −5 ) and for TAA risk locus 15q21 near FBN1 to AAA (OR=1.07; P =1.1×10 −3 ).
Importantly, a comparison of 38 cancer cell lines found a highly significant correlation between high integrin β3 gene copy number and neratinib (Pearson correlation coefficients: 0.614, p -value = 4.12 × 10 −5 ) or lapatinib (Pearson correlation coefficients: 0.436, p -value = 1.13 × 10 −2 ) resistance ( Figure 2 E).
When these datasets were combined in our statistical model (see methods), differences between apical and basal dendrites were highly significant ( p = 4.14e-05, Additional file 5 , Fig. 4 g).
Gene set enrichment analyses demonstrated nominally significant enrichment in the set related to collagen type XI trimer ( P = 4.18 × 10 −5 ) (Table S7 ).
showed a trendp = 4.2 × 10 −5
Another correlated SNP in the same region (rs269101, r 2 = 0.42 in 1000 genomes phase3 Finnish individuals) showed a trend toward association in our GWAS ( p = 4.2 × 10 −5 ) and in the replicate ( p = 0.054), further supporting the result.
Other highly significant pathways with a positive z-score were related to dendritic cell function and neuroinflammation, namely dendritic cell maturation (−log( p -value) = 4.37, z-score = 1.00) and neuroinflammation signalling pathway (−log( p -value) = 3.71, z-score = 2.00). 3.4.
We confirm the previously published association of the lead variant in the total sample, with the association for DBP still being highly significant in the UKB data alone ( P = 4.27 × 10 −5 ; N = 423,655).
Notably, overweight and obese Persians reported a significant trend towards dietary restraint following weight gain compared to Arabs ( P = 4.29 × 10 −5 ), with AMY1 CN showing negative association with dietary self-restraint ( P = 3.22 × 10 −3 ).
For falling number, a nearly significant region was found on chromosome 7B ( p -value = 4.3 * 10 −5 ) with an allele frequency of 89% for the advantageous allele (Figure 5D ).
The moderate and highly significant positive correlation between Mcl-1 and USP9x immunoreactivity (Spearman’s r = 0.560, p = 0.000043; Pearson’s r = 0.510, p = 0.00025) proposed an interrelation between the anti-apoptotic protein Mcl-1 and the deubiquitylating enzyme USP9x in prostate cancer. 3.2.
trending toward significancep = 4.3 × 10 −5
However, if 50 replicates were meta-analyzed, PRKCA became significant in the Asian sample ( N = 16,050, p = 3.4 × 10 −11 ) and in the Yoruba sample ( N = 5,600, p = 5.6 × 10 −9 ) and was trending toward significance in the Luhya sample ( N = 5,400, p = 4.3 × 10 −5 ).
