The cell surface tyrosinase (Tyr) activity exhibited a highly significant increase ( Figure S5c ).

In contrast, medium and small arteries showed a decreasing trend that did not reach statistical significance ( Figure 5 B,C).

However, imaging of WSE indicated a slightly significant reduction compared to the WSN.

The analysis identified “Metabolism” as the most significantly enriched top-level category, with a highly significant p -value of 1.11 × 10 −16 .

It is interesting to note that free serum Tg levels did not correlate with EV Tg levels, except in the case of recurrent cases where a positive trend was observed; however, the very small sample size limits the interpretation of this result.

Levels of thyroglobulin bands at 330 kDa (EV Tg 330 kDa/CD63) and 200 kDa (EV Tg 200 kDa/CD63) showed a trend of higher expression in the malignant group; however, only levels of EV Tg 330 kDa/CD63 were significantly different between benign and malignant samples (Student’s t -test, p = 0.020; Cohen’s d = 0.848, 95% CI [−9.786, −0.909]; Figure 5 B). 2.4.

CCK-8 assays corroborated these highly significant differences in proliferative capacity ( Figure 7 I).

Intermediate leaves showed a trend toward increased CAT activity, not reaching statistical significance, along with minimal damage, suggesting effective detoxification, whereas adult leaves accumulated higher levels of Fe, Ni, and Pb, but displayed moderate stress responses.

Lipid peroxidation, expressed as TBARS, also showed highly significant differences among leaf classes ( Figure 1 ).

While cisplatin reduced SOD and TAS levels, NAS treatment showed a trend toward biochemical recovery without reaching statistical significance in oxidative markers.

In particular, even though the first AKB-48 administration caused only a slight and non-statistically significant reduction in PCs density, both in males and females compared to their respective controls, a dramatic and highly significant reduction was assessed after the second and third AKB-48 administration.

Within the 3,5-dihalogenated series ( 52 – 54 ), a clear trend emerged, di-F (inactive) < di-Cl (26–33 μM) < di-Br (13–17 μM), consistent with the increasing size and polarizability of the halogens, which can enhance hydrophobic contacts and potentially halogen bonding.

Higher AD-risk-weighted burden scores in AD-related genes were associated with a significantly increased cumulative incidence of AD, while higher FTD-risk-weighted scores in FTD-related genes showed a trend toward association with increased cumulative incidence of FTD.

In the same context, all chamomile extracts tested showed highly significant acaricidal activity compared with the control [ 55 ].

The BIC descriptor exhibits a negative trend with increasing SHAP values ( Figure 5 b).

Highly significant effects of COC quality class, antioxidant treatment, and their interaction were revealed by statistical analysis using two-way ANOVA across all analysed genes ( p < 0.001).

The OPN rs11730582 SNP showed a trend towards association with OS and LRFS, but these did not reach statistical significance in the full model ( p = 0.076 and 0.078, respectively).
