Of the remaining 45 SNPs, four SNPs (rs4749884 at 10p14, rs12791447 at 11p15.4, rs75718479 at 12q23.1 and rs58262369 at 14q23.2) showed nominally significant associations at P additive <0.05 and had the same directions of association as in the GWAS meta-analysis ( Supplementary Table 5 ).
Excerpts
(A caveat to this finding is that different antibody clones were used for the surface fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) staining at baseline and at week 48 and, due to the possibility of different affinities, this is a possible confounder which needs to be explored in future studies.) The highly significant impact of the markers PD-1, Tim-3 and Lag-3 is intriguing, especially in view of the lack of association for markers of activation (HLA-DR, CD38), which might be expected to associate with rebound.
Indeed, comparison of differentially included cassette exons in genes expressed in both neurons and ECs (see Supplementary Methods ) revealed a highly significant overlap between alternative exons predicted to be regulated by Nova proteins in the brain 33 and those showing changes in inclusion levels upon Nova2 knockdown in the endothelium ( P =1.93 e −11 , hypergeometric test; Supplementary Fig. 6 ; Supplementary Table 3 ), despite the very different approaches used in the two studies (see Supplementary Materials for details).
4b ), although hAPP low mice showed a trend towards lower levels.
The transmission shows a decreasing trend with increasing MoO 3 thickness between 800 and 940 nm, while an opposite trend with thickness variation between 940 and 1,200 nm.
With respect to genes, we first tested the expanded list of 34 significant or nearly significant genes (known and likely oncogenes excluded) in burden analysis (see Methods) for evidence of somatic loss of the WT allele.
an overall trendgold
There is an overall trend towards lighter isotope ratios from before the Sturtian glaciation to the Ediacaran–Cambrian boundary.
By interrogating DNAm in SS patients, we identify a genome-wide, highly significant NSD1 +/− -specific signature that differentiates pathogenic NSD1 mutations from controls, benign NSD1 variants and the clinically overlapping Weaver syndrome.
When compared with the percentage of bees responding to the plant odour on its own, these differences were highly significant (McNemar tests, Bonferroni-corrected threshold α =0.016, P << α for these four test odours).
2 ), subsequently up to 700 μC cm −2 it showed a decreasing trend to a less positive value, consistent with increasing defect density.
Neutrophil extravasation and TRITC–dextran leakage in WT mice were not correlated in individual mice, although there was an overall association between extravasation and permeability, whereas the two processes in Rho-inhibited animals showed a highly significant correlation ( Fig. 1f ).

Timescales of Ekman response On interannual timescales, a positive SAM is associated with cool high-latitude SST 24 25 26 , whereas over longer periods a positive trend in the SAM has been linked to high-latitude SST warming 21 22 23 .
The highly significant P values are because of the fact that SNP-3.16732086 directly interrogates the functional polymorphism in exon 2 of GS3 , while the second and third MS-SNPs map 11.3 kb (SNP 3.16718013) and 16.8 kb (SNP 3.16712500) upstream of the transcriptional start site of GS3 , and explain 6% and 5.8% of the phenotypic variation, respectively ( Supplementary Data 3 ).
In general, phenotypic and genotypic correlations among panicle traits mirrored one another and were highly significant ( Fig. 2 ); the median Pearson's correlation coefficient between pairwise phenotypes was r= 0.4.
In comparison, VAMP7 −/− mice showed a systematic and highly significant preference for colder temperatures, as evidenced by values for both T peak and the median occupied temperature ( T median ) that were on average 3–4 °C lower than for WT ( Fig. 8d,e ).
Spinal pretreatment with the permeable mGluR5 antagonist fenobam (1–100 nmol) produced a highly significant, dose-dependent reduction of glutamate-induced pain behaviours in SNI rats, whereas pretreatment with the impermeable antagonist LY393053 (1–1,000 nmol; Fig. 5a,b ) was less effective.
1d ; P =2 × 10 −4 ; two-way ANOVA) all confirmed highly significant protection from disease development.
an overall trendgold
However, despite this variability, our hypothesis is testable because it concerns an overall trend in behaviour.
In the Osx-P3 PPR-deficient Tomato + cells, mRNA expression of the bone/cementum matrix protein, osteopontin ( Opn ), showed a trend toward upregulation compared to Osx-P3 PPR WT cells, although this result was not statistically significant ( Fig. 7j , Mann–Whitney's U -test).
This highly significant reduction—over 90%—suggests that w Anga may interfere with Plasmodium development in the mosquito vector, as shown in artificial Anopheles – Wolbachia combinations 14 15 19 .
The downflows at the cusps show velocities in the range of 17.6–80.2 km s −1 with a decreasing trend.

Blinded histological analysis (NAS score) revealed a nonsignificant trend to higher NAS score in KO mice compared with WT mice after 4 months of CD-HFD feeding ( Supplementary Table 1 ).
a clear trendgold
There is a clear trend; as the nucleotide specificity box motif becomes more negatively charged and polar, there is an increased preference for cytosine bases.
In contrast, the S155E mutant showed a trend to increased promoter activation under unstimulated conditions that did not reach statistical significance.
