The conclusion was that the six-months treatment with melatonin produced a remarkable and highly significant improvement of thyroid function, positive changes of gonadotropins towards more juvenile levels, and the abrogation of menopause-related depression.

Results: Stunting followed a decreasing trend in all countries at an average annual rate of 1.04 percentage points.
