Among the top suggestive novel genes identified in Whites based on the ImmunoChip data, FCGR2C and PINX1 were only nominally significant in African Americans (p = 0.016 and p = 0.028, respectively), while among the top novel genes identified in the gene-level analysis in African Americans, UNC5C (p = 5.57x10 -4 ) and CLEC16A (p = 0.0463) were also nominally significant in Whites.

Relative to control, monocyte counts were also increased in 6 d ‘Lung’ animals ( p = 0.007) and approached significance in 6 d ‘IA Ocln’ animals ( p = 0.016; α = 0.012 ) ( Table 5 ).

However, the correlation for late learning showed a slight non-significant trend to be smaller than for early learning ( p = .177), and a significant trend to be smaller than for intermediate learning ( p = .016).

Although KRT14 was up-regulated in basal cells as compared to the complete differentiated airway epithelium (expression ratio 203), the borderline significance (p = 0.016) precluded it from inclusion in the human airway basal cell signature.

The difference between the SZ and HC groups for item 2 fell short of significance ( p = .016).

This SNP (ss73689521 or rs55944529) showed a borderline significant association with schizophrenia (nominal p = 0.016, corrected p = 0.077) in the original sample (912 patients and 600 controls).

Although the NoGo-P3 amplitudes decreased and exhibited a dose-dependent pattern along with prolonged time of TSD ( Table 2 ), the difference did not reach statistical significance ( p < 0.016).

This hypothesis is further supported as a hematopoietic progenitor cell line, CD34+ Mobilized cells, was approaching significance in the DNase hypersensitivity enrichment analysis (p = 0.016).

However, after Bonferroni correction (α-level = 0.0125) the effect on wing-bar brightness would turn to marginally significant ( P = 0.016).

However, our chi-square analyses detected a strong association (P<0.00001) between those five clades and risk (MSM, IDU and HRH) and sex ( Table 4 ), still highly significant after a Bonferroni threshold for multiple tests of P<0.0167.

Linear regression analysis evidenced a positive trend for these cells as Chagas heart involvement increases (P = 0.0168), suggesting that the contraction of CD19+CD27+ cells occurs prior the onset of heart symptoms, and reverts as cardiac disease becomes more severe.

While Buchnera showed a higher D r /D c ratio than Blochmannia , this is only marginally significant (p<0.017) by the sign test and has a relatively low ChiSquare value in the Wilcoxon test ( Table 6 ).

Association factors for Sac-Lp colonization Unadjusted analysis revealed a highly significant negative correlation between Sac-Lp colonization and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (p = 0.017), negative co-colonization with A . fumigatus (p = 0.027), with A . xylosoxidans (p = 0.046), with H . influenzae , Hi (p = 3.369e-05), with C . albicans (p = 0.041) and with other Candida species (without further specification) (p = 0.005) ( Table 3 ).

A significant trend of increasing cirrhosis at EOF was observed in FVL and HVL groups (11% and 27%, respectively) compared with LVL group (5%, P = .017) [ Table 1 ].

sanguisuga laboratory-raised nymph and field-caught adult microbiota indicated that nymphs harbored a greater diversity of bacterial families than adults, as indicated by Shannon and Chao1 indices, although the later did not reach statistical significance ( Fig 1A and 1B , t = 2.88, P = 0.017 and t = 0.29, P = 0.78, respectively).
