The deletion from − 1878 bp to − 1523 bp showed a decrease of luciferase activity that was trending toward significance ( P = 0.07); when the deletion reached the − 1264 bp, the luciferase activity was significantly increased ( P < 0.01); When the deletion reached − 953 bp, the luciferase activity was significantly reduced ( P < 0.01), indicating that there are negative regulatory elements in the region from − 1264 bp to − 953 bp.

At day 7 of adulthood, treatment with 400 μg/ml of blueberry extract, showed a trend towards elevated levels of ROS (t-test, p = 0.07) (Fig. 8C ) compared to control.

Interestingly, we did observe a divergent effect of infection complexity on the risk of severe malaria among children <5 years of age, who had a relatively negligible risk of severe disease with a more complex infection (≥3 identified haplotypes), compared to adults and children ≥5 years of age, who had a clear trend ( p = 0.07) towards a reduced risk of severe disease with more complex infections.
In the efficacy group, the LV dimension increased as a function of time as follows: at 4 weeks, Z-scores for MV, AOV, AAO, and isthmus dimensions were significantly greater than those obtained prior to HO therapy (P < 0.01); at 8 weeks, although the MV, AOV, and AAO dimensions demonstrated an increasing trend that did not reach statistical significance (P = 0.07, 0.06, 0.1, respectively), the Z-scores of the isthmus in the three-vessel and trachea view (3VT) views were significantly greater than those obtained at earlier time points (P < 0.05).

Improvement for voiceless plosive pairs that differed by place of articulation was close to significance ( t (25) = 3.5, p = 0.070; mean effect: 13.5%; SD: 19.6%).
A Levene’s Test indicated that there was less variance in average ratings for structural interventions ( SD = 0.79) than individual interventions ( SD = 0.88), though this difference was only marginally significant ( F (279, 279) = 0.80, p = 0.07).
The analysis also showed a borderline significant association of low C6orf141 expression with poor DSS in patients with TSCC (Fig. 4c , P = 0.070) but no significant difference in DFS (Fig. 4d , P = 0.731).

Right medial superior frontal cortices showed higher HbR for recalling of the novel faces than same faces (ch 27, paired t-test, FDR corrected p-value = 0.07, marginal significance) while higher HbR for recalling of same faces was observed in left medial superior frontal cortex (ch 7, paired t-test, FDR corrected p-value = 0.07, marginal significance).
The same interaction was nearing significance for procedural decision performance ( t (72.18) = − 1.82, p = 0.07 for the lapses in the two-choice reaction task—see Fig. 3 ) and vigilance performance (PVT lapses: t (93.13) = − 1.76 , p = 0.08, see Fig. 4 ) but disappeared almost completely for Simple Reaction times ( t (90.67) = − 0.79, p = 0.434).
Similarly, cART had no effect on Category Fluency, Action Fluency, or Letter Fluency T-scores, and no effect on the overall verbal fluency composite T-scores, although marginal significance was observed for Letter Fluency and verbal fluency composite T-scores ( d : 0.20; 95% CI: −0.02, 0.43, P = 0.07 and d : 0.19; 95% CI: −0.03, 0.41, P = 0.09, respectively).
The analysis revealed that a main effect of trend magnitude approached significance ( F (1, 11) = 3.91, p = 0.07).
